Job Description:
We have an immediate need for a Delivery Assurance/Expeditor at our supplier location in Bloomington, MN. The primary focus of this role is to provide onsite delivery assurance support for our aerospace manufacturing activities.
Duties & responsibilities include:
- Track work order movement through the manufacturing process of specific product identified by value stream
- Provide part status inputs along with Line of Balance
- Documents process issues.
- Tracking and Monitoring material flow between various departments and parties.
- Both internal and external
- Prepare progress reports and Work in Progress [WIP] Reporting
- Line of Balance
- Create & maintain weekly reports covering accomplishments, roadblocks and forward-looking support
- Facilitate implementation of need-based solutions.
- Identify needed resources to keep product moving
Work Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education and experience:
- HS Diploma/GED with 2-3 years’ experience in production planning support
- Associate degree preferred
- Fosters strong internal and external partnerships.
- Observes all safety rules per OSHA guidelines
- Self-motivated and excels in working autonomously.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Experienced with MS Office suite to include intermediate level experience with Excel [pivot tales/VLOOKUP’s]
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Cross functional team experience
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be a US citizen
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Office Environments, as well as being on the Shop Floor.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 40 hours weeks plus lunch / core (required) hours / General shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer defined locations.
