 The Mold Setter performs all the mold set-up functions for productions needs within the department. This would include but not be limited to setting molds in injection plastic machines with all related connections and hook-ups, processing set-ups, testing dials, and controls, performing general service duties, and custodial/clean-up on equipment and for the department as necessary. The main job objective encompasses the measuring, slitting, and rolling of finished fabrics, as well as preparing these materials for shipment through proper packing procedures. This role emphasizes technical expertise and individual contribution to the operational process.
Responsibilities

<li>1. Keep the area around the machine clean and safe to work in</li>
<li>2. Retrieve and position full A-frames at the slitter</li>
<li>3. Inspect the cutting blades for proper operation</li>
<li>4. Monitor the exact slit dimensions (measure and set)</li>
<li>5. Set the specified roll length</li>
<li>8. Assemble boxes for packaging</li>
<li>9. Place slit fabric into boxes</li>
<li>10. Record the required data in the SAP, and properly identify the boxes with printed labels on top and</li>
<li>side</li>
<li>11. Assist in any area requested by manager at any time</li>
