<li>The Plant Manager should be engaged with the department and line workers to have good working relationships with key personnel within each area, with those who represent “go-to” or “working lead” level employees. The Plant manager must have informal interpersonal relationships that support good team performance.</li>

<li>Must allow Supervisors and Production Managers to speak for themselves and not speak on their behalf, and to be an active listener.</li>

Plant P&amp;L management:
<ul>
<li>Accountable for meeting financial targets, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.</li>
<li>This requires actively tracking and controlling all aspects of the plant’s budget, optimizing operational efficiency, and making data-driven decisions to improve financial performance.</li>

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Leads the plant’s financial performance by managing P&amp;L to ensure profitability and cost control. Collaborate with the finance department to develop accurate forecasts and budgets and ensure that operational activities align with financial objectives.</li>
<li>Coordinates plant activities through planning with Production Managers and Line Supervisors to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished promptly, cost-effectively, and safely. Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results.</li>
<li>Participates in the forecasting and budgeting process for the plant.</li>
<li>Analyzes, recommends, and implements methods to control costs and increase efficiencies. Makes recommendations for capital improvements.</li>
<li>Manages employee performance by setting and communicating expectations and goals, following company goals. Provides coaching to direct reports for improved performance and works closely with Human Resources to manage employees within policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Establishes and monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards. Ensures that quality is a priority throughout the facility.</li>
<li>Fosters a safe working environment and ensures all employees are accountable to safety policies and practices.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties and assignments as required to meet goals and objectives.</li>
</ul>
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor’s degree in business, manufacturing, engineering, or construction management.
</li>
<li>
Strong leadership and coaching skills are essential. Technology aptitude, including the use of data analytics, ERP systems, and automation tools, is a major asset.
</li>
<li>
Previous experience in a leadership role within a growing company is preferred.
</li>
<li>
Quality management system experience is helpful.
</li>
<li>
MRP and solid computer experience are desired.
</li>
<li>
5 or more years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial operation.
</li>
