This position will serve as the key mechanical development engineer representative in the connector design group to support new connector design at customers, component, documentation, and quality issues as they arise. RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>General understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate well with Global Customers and all levels of the organization including Management, Marketing, Sales, Process Engineering, Test Lab personnel, other Engineers (local and global).</li>
<li>Ability to prioritize, work to meet objectives and to manage multiple activities/projects simultaneously.</li>
<li>Finite element analysis (FEA) experience is a plus.</li>

<li>Use Bluebeam to review drawings, provide redlines, and track install progression</li>
<li>Maintain accurate as-built documentation and submit redlines regularly</li>
<li>Complete and submit daily logs with photos, manpower tracking, and updates</li>
<li>Track and report material usage, backorders, and deliveries</li>
<li>Use Excel or company-approved forms for time tracking, material sheets, and schedule planning</li>
<li>Conduct routine QA/QC checks for code compliance, layout accuracy, and cleanliness</li>
<li>Enforce all safety policies and conduct Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks</li>
<li>Train, mentor, and discipline crew members as needed — especially Lead Men and Apprentices</li>
<li>Communicate field issues clearly and promptly to Superintendent or Project Manager</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>7–8 years field experience in mechanical or plumbing trades</li>
<li>2+ years experience in a leadership role (Lead Man or above)</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret construction documents</li>
<li>OSHA 10 (required), OSHA 30 (preferred and will be expected to obtain after hiring)</li>
<li>Trade license or card preferred (Journeyman or above)</li>
