Ice Machine Install Technician

Directly reports to the General Manager. Functionally responsible for maintaining all manufacturing equipment and components at Almag Aluminium. As a member of the Maintenance team, openly shares knowledge and information including training of teammates.
Duties &amp; Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Accountable for all mechanical, fluidic, welding and plant equipment maintenance with minor electrical troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime.</li>
<li>Work with minimal supervision in a safe manner maintaining a clean and orderly shop.</li>
<li>Respond to break-downs immediately and /or provide communication for repairs.</li>

Duties and Responsibilities
The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations. They must have thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-building parts.&nbsp;

<li>Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment</li>
<li>Ability to set-up and operate machinery and equipment to cut, punch, form, or paint quality finished or semi-finished parts.</li>
<li>Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Operate various CNC-controlled machines, such as presses, lasers, and rolling mills in a fast-paced production setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality</li>
<li>Performs routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation.</li>
<li>Marks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of pieces on parts. Attaches identification tags as required for customer to have the ability locate correct parts.</li>
<li>Interprets blueprints, specifications, and other technical data to select the correct raw material or semi-finished parts.</li>
<li>Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area.</li>
