Other duties include stockroom duties, punch press, Teflon forming, temperature testing, tagging, marking, oxygen cleaning and shipping.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Knowledge of Power Press Operations; hydraulic. Air-driven and mechanical with controls that range from full manual to semi-automated and automated. Operate, control, and supervise the production equipment. Blanks, draws, forms and spot welds ferrous and non-ferrous material into semi-finished and finished rupture disks and related components. Follows operating for all equipment. Conducts burst tests, determines processes and adjustments needed to obtain specific burst pressure as required. Determines material changes needed, sets heavy dies, lays out and fabricates and assembles rupture disks, assemblies’ products, explosion vents and component parts to specification. Manufactures products from work orders, blueprints, engineering instructions and other related documents. Non-fabrication functions include but are not limited to: stockroom activities such as material storage, identification, cut to size and allocation to work orders. Punch press, forming various types of Teflon liners and covers, torque temperature test flanges and conducting testing in ovens and cold box, tagging, marking, oxygen cleaning, heat treat and shipping activities. Operate specialty software-controlled equipment, measurement, and monitoring systems. Follow operating instructions for all equipment. Understand “Critical to Quality” Product Characteristics and self-monitor work output to ensure build of “good parts” by process from setup to completion to meet Customer expectations. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Two-Year, Associate in Applied Sciences Degree in either Industrial Technology, Electronics Technology, Mechanical Technology, Automotive Technology, Manufacturing, or equivalent Trade School Certificate in manufacturing related studies.
Experience: Three (3) years manufacturing experience with a proficient knowledge of ferrous and nonferrous metals, sheet metal skills, hand and power tools, lifting and handling equipment, machines and equipment. Must have fork truck certificate or pass training classes to obtain a certificate.
Knowledge: Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings, manufacturing specifications, and other technical information. Possess good computer skills. PLC and CNC experience preferred. Read, interpret, and interact with instructions and record keeping handled by Company electronic data systems. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. POSITION SUMMARY
Kelvion, one of the leading global manufacturers of heat exchangers is currently seeking a Production Material Planner to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring consistent and adequate supply of materials are available for production operations. He/she will Coordinate with other members of the production departments regarding production goals, timelines, etc. This individual will track production volume and monitor customer demand patterns, while scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products. The Production Material Planner will develop a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date. The ideal candidate should have the ability to forecast the correct volumes of materials, goods and products to Kelvion from our supply chain companies.

To Ensure materials and services for production are available on time and under requested conditions for day-to-day business execution and for the long-term company goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; DUTIES

<li>Make the appointments and evaluations of the personnel under his/her direct responsibility according to company rules.</li>
<li>Assure the availability of Materials and Services at the required dates according to the company needs.</li>
<li>Define the right Material planning and ordering processes (MRP, reordering point, spot order, etc.) for each type of material or services, taking into account the key related business conditions such as customer orders lead time, supplier lead time, availability and reliability of bill of materials, etc.</li>
<li>Manage and execute the defined process of receiving supplier confirmation for the received orders. Manage and escalate, if necessary, such cases in which those supplier order confirmations contradict, totally or partially, the requested purchasing conditions.</li>
<li>Trigger all necessary actions with the Purchasing function when it is not fully defined the source and the purchasing conditions of the material or services that are about to be requested. Escalate to the same function the cases that cannot be resolved by the Material Planners when suppliers raise concerns or reject totally or partially the received order.</li>
<li>Provide regular visibility and reporting (internally and externally) of supplier on time delivery performance according to the defined company measurement and reporting rules. </li>
<li>Escalate proactively to the Purchasing function and other company key stakeholders, the critical cases of suppliers not meeting or being at risk of not meeting their contractual obligations (delivery date and quantity mainly). </li>
<li>Closely liaise with Purchasing activities as to strive for better contractual terms with our suppliers related to the optimal availability of materials and services to the company (lead times, minimum order quantity, Incoterms, batch sizes, packaging conditions, delivery frequency, etc.) </li>
<li>Maintain a close interaction with other company related key stakeholders such as Sales, Production and Engineering in order to take into account their particular needs and provide them with relevant feedback about the development and execution of the assigned tasks. </li>
<li>Implement and execute Procedures, Operative Instructions and Reporting Systems, so that the assigned functions can be correctly executed, results and information correctly consolidate.</li>

Job DescriptionABOUT THE ROLE The basic function of the Plant Manager is to provide the necessary leadership to plan, direct, organize, coordinate and control the mining of raw materials and the production of shippable product at the assigned Plant in a manner to meet Aggregate Dispatcher requests on a timely and cost efficient basis. The Plant Manager will be tasked with ensuring that an appropriate quality product is made at the Plant. The Plant Manager will ensure proper staffing and monitoring of the inventory status at the Plant and in addition will coordinate activities with the following departments: Aggregate Operations Department - Dispatch, Fleet Maintenance Department, and Quality Control Department of the Region in addition Regional Administration / Financial function. The Plant Manager will analyze and monitor production efficiency / productivity to ensure the Company is fully utilizing on site vehicles and plant equipment at the assigned location. In addition, the Plant Manager will develop mining and production strategies and tactics to ensure an approach to raise productivity levels, maintaining safety as a top propriety, while controlling the costs of the assigned location.
