We are seeking an experienced Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) Attorney to oversee and manage our arbitration processes, ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, and contribute to our claims processing operations

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Independent Dispute Resolution Management</li>
<li>Lead and oversee all IDR activities under the No Surprises Act for out-of-network claims.</li>
<li>Utilize proprietary arbitration software to track, manage, and resolve disputes efficiently for clients.</li>
<li>Keep track of all claims in the 90-day cooling off period, and monitor when they can be submitted on the IDR portal</li>
<li>Follow up on unprocessed disputes or unpaid claims after determination has been made</li>
<li>Assist with overseeing IDR Representative</li>

<li>Develop and maintain relationships with arbitrators, legal professionals, and other stakeholders.</li>

<li>Collaborate with our billing team to ensure claims align with NSA requirements and maximize collections.</li>
<li>Mitigate legal risks by ensuring all billing practices comply with federal and state healthcare laws and more.</li>

Education:

<li>Juris Doctor (JD) or Paralegal Certification highly preferred.</li>
<li>Equivalent experience in healthcare arbitration, revenue cycle management, or legal support will be considered.</li>

 Responsibilities: 1. Managing a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. 2. Representing clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims. 3. Working closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects. 4. Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials. 5. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis. 6. Drafting pleadings, motions, memorandums, briefs, and other court documents. 7. Working with clients and other firm members to investigate facts and law of cases and develop strategies and arguments for presentation of cases. Qualifications: 1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the state bar. 3. A minimum of 2 years of civil defense litigation experience. 4. Proven background in trial, discovery, depositions, legal research, legal writing, and drafting motions. 5. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. 6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 7.
