Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Instead of being handed a preselected bag of groceries, our participants now shopped with store credit earned through volunteering. The stores we now operate in Urbana and Champaign are open to the entire community and generate revenue to support the store credit participants earn in addition to our other programs and services.

The Pump Station Maintenance Technician position will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled technical duties and semi-skilled labor related to the mechanical aspects of SD1 pump stations. This position will involve multi-skilled work in the maintenance, operation, and repair of pumps, motors, and mechanical equipment. The work requires confined space entries and lock out/tag out of mechanical components. <li>1-5 years of experience including IT Degree and or A+ Certification</li>
