Summary: 
The House Manager shall oversee the daily operations of the residential program, care of residents, and supervision of staff. House Managers shall assist in coordination of care, staffing patterns, budgets, and environments that support the treatment philosophy. House Manager shall work as part of the Program Leadership Team to provide the best care possible for the residents in the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Must adhere to the agency philosophy and mission statement. </li>
<li>Develop specific unit treatment goals for each resident in conjunction with the treatment team. Attend treatment team meetings and coordinate care with members of resident’s team. </li>
<li>Develop, write, update, and implement treatment plans, monthly progress summaries, utilize assessment tools and oversee the implementation of the relationship-based philosophy in collaboration with the assigned Clinician. </li>
<li>Develop specific unit treatment objectives in relation to the overall treatment goals as it relates to discharge plan and return to family and community. </li>
<li>Communicate with each client their goals and objectives in conjunction with their treatment plan. </li>
<li>Ensure client’s needs for special services are addressed with the Tx Team, Program Clinician, and Case Manager </li>
<li>Observe client to detect indication of problems in physical and mental behavior </li>
<li>Assist in the coordination of all clients’ visits with the client’s assigned Clinician </li>
<li>Participate in weekly treatment meetings</li>
<li>Represent assigned units in all appropriate meetings as basic treatment goals are developed with the family, referring agencies and campus staff in order to re-evaluate, revise, and/or update during the client’s time in residential care</li>

<li>Perform construction engineering technician (inspection) services related to earthwork, concrete, asphalt and utility construction for NCDOT, municipalities, and private sector clients. </li>
<li>Perform engineering and construction field testing primarily roadway/bridge projects. </li>
<li>Inspect and report on specific aspects of construction works in progress, such as concrete pours, rebar placement, pipe replacements as examples. </li>
<li>Inspect and sample construction materials.</li>
<li>Perform computations with formulas, plots data and draws simple curves and graphs.</li>
<li>Assist Engineers in the field during soil and materials investigations.</li>
<li>Ensure that job site tests/observations, including quality control, quality assurance, and verifications are performed in accordance with the standard test/observation methods, project specifications and other contract documents.</li>
<li>Perform field testing and observation of soils, concrete and asphalt.</li>
<li>Perform inspections for construction projects to ensure contractor compliance with state specifications, plans, and/or proposals for primarily roadway work, roadway, pavement.</li>
<li>Verify plan quantities and calculations as bid plans.</li>
<li>Prepare and maintain project records and reports.</li>
<li>May assist with notifying the Contractor or the Project Engineer of non-conforming work.</li>
</ul>
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

<li>Knowledge of engineering, construction, testing and inspection principles.</li>
<li>Experience with materials testing.</li>
<li>Experience with standard testing and observation methods.</li>
<li>Understanding of construction or engineering services.</li>
<li>Experience in performing quality control initiatives and performance testing.</li>
<li>Skill in field reporting, writing reports and maintaining records</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills. </li>
<li>Ability to work in external environment conditions during difficult weather. </li>

Minimum Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>2+ years experience in construction inspection and testing on NCDOT projects.</li>
<li>Familiarity with highway construction specifications and previous field experience. </li>
<li>Experience with concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and utility construction engineering services and inspection/testing.</li>
<li>Experience with field and laboratory testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, masonry, structural steel, etc. </li>
<li>Preferred certifications: ACI Grade I, DOT Asphalt Tech, NICET Level II Soils, ICC Special inspections and/or CWI/NDT inspectors – good to have but not required. </li>
<li>Must have a valid driver license and an acceptable driving record.</li>
