Position Purpose
The Communication Groundperson position is your first step to a rewarding career in the construction and maintenance of our nation’s Power Grid. A groundman’s primarily responsible for performing support tasks for fiber cable construction, repair, or maintenance.

Interacts with Strata Self Perform Electrical crews and Subcontractors regarding Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical Quality plans, executions, and corrective actions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Summary: 
The Shift Supervisor shall oversee the daily operations of the residential program, activities, and care. The Shift Supervisor shall assist in coordination of care, staffing patterns, budgets, and environments that support the treatment philosophy. The Shift Supervisor shall work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide the best care possible for the children and families in our care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Child Treatment &amp; Development: 
<ul>
<li>Must adhere to the agency philosophy and mission statement. </li>
<li>Develop specific unit treatment goals for each child in conjunction with the treatment team. Attend treatment team meetings and coordinate care with members of youth’s team. </li>
<li>Develop, write, update, and implement treatment plans, monthly progress summaries, utilize assessment tools and oversee the implementation of the relationship-based philosophy in collaboration with the assigned Clinician. </li>
<li>Develop specific unit treatment objectives in relation to the overall treatment goals as it relates to discharge plan and return to family, school, and community. </li>
<li>Communicate with each client their goals and objectives in conjunction with their treatment plan. </li>
<li>Ensure the youth’s needs for special services are addressed with the Tx Team, Program Manager, and Clinician. </li>
<li>Develop uniform, quality group experiences within the residential program. </li>
<li>Observe children to detect indication of problems in physical and mental behavior. </li>
<li>Assist in the coordination of all client visits with the client’s assigned Licensed Clinician. </li>
<li>Participate in weekly treatment meetings. </li>
<li>Represent the unit in all appropriate meetings as basic treatment goals are developed with the client, family, referring agencies, and campus staff to re-evaluate, revise, and/or update during the client’s time in residential care. </li>
<li>Assist in the establishment of individual crisis management plans for each client in their unit with documented plans made available to all treatment team staff within ten days of admission. </li>
<li>Work with the Program Manager on annual budget to reduce costs and spending as appropriate. </li>
<li>Collects, organizes, and analyzes information about clients through records, tests, interviews, and professional resources to evaluate their interests, aptitudes, abilities, and personality characteristics for vocational and educational planning. </li>
<li>Responsible for revising plan of care and scheduling case conferences. </li>
<li>To be accessible to clients in crisis. </li>
<li>To represent the cottage in all appropriate meetings as basic treatment goals are developed with the client/family referring agencies. </li>
<li>Oversee program group activities. </li>
<li>Assist with scheduling admissions and discharge dates in conjunction with the Case Manager. </li>
<li>Attend team meetings to keep staff appraised of work with individual cases. </li>
<li>Understand the cultural diversity of clients and team members to better serve our clients. </li>
<li>Ability to develop mutually respectful relationships with our clients and their families. </li>
<li>Ability to appropriately intervene to meet the needs of our clients and their families and to help our clients and their family members gain the skills and confidence to address issues and problems as they take place. </li>

<li>Employ and supervise staff to ensure that supervision and training is appropriately documented to remain in compliance with state mental health policy on competency requirements. </li>
<li>Train and develop staff in the program philosophy including the value of structure, engagement, nurture, and challenge. </li>
<li>Set staff goals, objectives, review and evaluate job performance. </li>
<li>Determine work procedures and manage cottage schedules in conjunction with the Program Manager and Clinician. </li>
<li>Maintain work relations and resolve grievances. </li>
<li>Provide supervision to direct care staff and conduct personnel action when necessary. </li>
