<ul>
<li>Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, accruals, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency conversions</li>
<li>Monthly payroll payments for four European subsidiaries, including managing payroll correspondence from the subsidiaries</li>
<li>Partner with local service providers as needed to review and coordinate international statutory filings, including bridging statutory financial and tax books to U.S. GAAP</li>
<li>Drive process and reporting improvements and standardization efforts while maintaining a high level of accuracy</li>
<li>Provide backup for foreign AP as needed</li>
<li>Handle special projects as required</li>
</ul>
Qualifications and Skills:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field</li>
<li>Strong knowledge and understanding of IFRS and U.S. GAAP</li>
<li>5+ years of accounting experience in a multinational organization</li>
<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to seek underlying assumptions through probing, questioning, and listening</li>
<li>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to listen attentively and communicate information clearly and effectively</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work in a team, facilitate effective team interactions, and foster a positive work environment; willingness to assist teammates to achieve departmental goals</li>
<li>Basic understanding of FX and intercompany transactions</li>
<li>The role is based in downtown Seattle and requires being on site – remote work not considered</li>

A reasonable, good-faith estimate of the hourly pay for this position is $38-$53 per hour. This estimate is dependent on a variety of factors.
