Position Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for providing financial and administrative support for Family Care Center. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing payments, verifying invoices and reconciling all expenses in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
Essential Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Processes invoices, reconciles vendor billing and monitors uncoded and unapproved invoices to ensure all issues are addressed.</li>
<li>Completes review of invoicing to source documents including agreements, communications, and purchase orders. </li>
<li>Manage and maintain the Accounts Payable inbox, triaging incoming messages promptly and escalating issues to the AP Lead or Accounting Manager as needed.</li>
<li>Facilitates the proper setup of vendors within our accounting and finance systems. </li>
<li>Reviews and approves employee credit card expenses and out-of-pocket reimbursements per company policies. </li>
<li>Prepare and process the weekly payment proposal, ensuring accurate disbursement and reconciliation. </li>
<li>Process monthly clinic rent payments, ensuring accuracy and timely disbursement.</li>
<li>Creates and maintains accounting process documents and standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Lead annual 1099 preparation and filing, supporting broader tax reporting activities, as necessary.</li>
<li>Supports and contributes to Accounting projects as assigned.</li>
</ul>

<li>Performs other related duties as assigned by management.</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years’ accounting experience required. Prior experience in automating invoice workflows using cloud-based AP platforms preferred.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience with NetSuite ERP, RAMP or Stampli preferred.</li>
</ul>
Work Environment and Conditions:
<ul>
<li>Continually required to sit, utilize hand, and finger dexterity, talk, and hear. </li>
<li>Work environment is usually quiet to moderate.&nbsp; </li>
<li>Frequently working at a desk in front of a computer. </li>
<li>Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.</li>
