<li>Plans, implements and conducts annual TB and bloodborne pathogen training to employees, physicians, volunteers and contract staff in required departments. Provides education on an as needed basis regarding hand washing and isolation practices in conjunction with the Infection Preventionist.</li>
<li>Participates on the Infection Control Committee and other committees at the request of leadership. </li>
<li>Provides initial assessment of employee injuries; ensures proper referrals made to Workers Compensation Insurance. Trends employee illnesses/injuries to identify safety and health issues.&nbsp; Maintains summaries and written reports required for employee illness/injury reporting as indicated by OSHA. </li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality between the health care professional and the employee as required by OSHA, HIPAA, professional ethics codes, and individual state privacy acts. </li>
<li>Maintains and updates Employee Health- related policies and protocols as needed.</li>
<li>Assists the Infection Preventionist with NHSN reporting and other duties to comply with overall infection prevention and control program.</li>

Education: Graduate of a vocational nursing program required; bachelor’s degree preferred.

HR Administrative Assistant- Entry Level

POSITION SUMMARY
We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our growing team. This role is a key partner across the business, responsible for supporting the full spectrum of HR activities—including employee relations, compliance, onboarding, recordkeeping, and internal communications. From leading employee experience initiatives to supporting key HR processes and events, you’ll play a critical role in helping us build a positive, high-performing, and compliant workplace culture.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred</li>
<li>3+ years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and HR operations</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of employment laws, HR principles, and best practices (e.g., FMLA, EEO, FLSA)</li>
<li>Experience working with HRIS platforms (ADP Workforce Now preferred), including reporting and data entry</li>
<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills, with a strong attention to detail</li>
<li>High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information with discretion</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite</li>
</ul>
OTHER ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Employee Relations &amp; HR Support
<ul>
<li>Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and HR policy interpretation</li>
<li>Support employee relations efforts, including coaching, documentation, investigations, and corrective actions in partnership with the HR Director</li>
<li>Foster a positive, inclusive work environment through consistent support and communication</li>
</ul>
Onboarding &amp; Engagement
<ul>
<li>Lead new hire onboarding and orientation logistics, including welcome communications and first-day readiness</li>
<li>Track and ensure completion of new hire paperwork (I-9s, W-4s, ADP profiles, etc.)</li>
<li>Maintain employee engagement initiatives such as 90-day check-ins, recognition programs, and pulse surveys</li>
</ul>
HR Operations &amp; Records Management
<ul>
<li>Maintain accurate employee files and electronic records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements</li>
<li>Ensure timely data entry and updates in HRIS (ADP), including promotions, job changes, certifications, and training</li>
<li>Track and monitor compliance items such as health cards, training records, and required evaluations</li>
</ul>
Recruiting Coordination
<ul>
<li>Support recruiting efforts by coordinating interviews, background checks, reference checks, and pre-employment testing</li>
<li>Communicate with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a smooth interview and hiring experience</li>
</ul>
HR Projects &amp; Events
<ul>
<li>Assist with planning and executing HR-related events (e.g., employee appreciation, wellness initiatives, safety meetings)</li>
<li>Maintain and update HR bulletin boards, swag inventory, and office supplies</li>
<li>Support internal training coordination, travel arrangements for candidates, and external conference planning</li>
</ul>
General Support &amp; Cross-Functional Collaboration
<ul>
<li>Serve as back-up support for front desk or payroll-related tasks as needed</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support HR-driven initiatives</li>
<li>Continuously recommend and implement process improvements that increase HR efficiency and employee satisfaction</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL &amp; WORK ENVIRONMENT
<ul>
<li>This position is primarily onsite in a smoke-free office environment</li>
<li>Must be able to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.</li>
<li>Occasional travel or offsite attendance may be required for events or training</li>
