Now Hiring: Medical Assistant – Primary Care – Carrollton Area 

Full-Time | Competitive Pay | 11 Months Contract
High Chances of Securing a Permanent Placement after Contract ends 

Location: Carrolton, TX 75010&nbsp;

<ul>
<li>Scheduled: 40hours per week (5 Days, M-F)</li>
<li>Shift: 8 hours in Day. 8am-5pm</li>
</ul>

Hourly compensation:&nbsp;$20.00 - $23.00 Per hour.
 Job Summary:
<ul>
<li>Accurately completes and maintains medical records and documentation.</li>
<li>Maintains exam rooms and pod areas. Prepares, stocks, and clean rooms.</li>
<li>&nbsp;Draw labs on pediatric and adult patients. Processing labs, lab draws with all needles.</li>
<li>Schedule appts and phone call reminders. Take vitals, give injections, take blood pressure.</li>
<li>Schedules and informs patients regarding procedures.</li>
<li>Collects and handles specimens/ cultures following established policies and procedures.</li>
<li>Prepares patients for procedures and assists providers.</li>
<li>Knowledgeable and able to perform procedures requiring clean and/or sterile technique.</li>
<li>Follows sterile instrument processing protocol.</li>
<li>Completes patient referrals.</li>
<li>Document all patient interactions and care provided in the EMR/EHR system.</li>
</ul>
Qualification:
<ul>
<li>Medical Assistant Certificate or Phlebotomy Certification</li>
<li>BLS from AHA</li>
<li>Medical office experience or fast paced environment experience preferred</li>
</ul>
