PRACTICE SPECIFICS

<li>Essentia Health is seeking Audiologists licensed in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin to perform remote telehealth hearing tests from their home/office starting Fall 2025.</li>
<li>Like other telehealth platforms, patients will be roomed and set up in one of our current Audiology clinics while the remote Audiologist logs on. Once both patient and Audiologist are ready, the staff leave the room and return once the hearing test is completed to assist the patient to checkout.</li>
<li>Initial schedules will be offered in flexible 4-hour blocks Mondays through Fridays. Competitive hourly compensation. Prefer minimum of four 4-hour blocks per month.</li>
<li>Provide a comprehensive array of diagnostic audiology tests and rehabilitative services to patients of all ages</li>
<li>Diagnostic testing: audiological, vestibular, and implant assessments, immittance, otoacoustic emissions, evoked potentials</li>

<li>Annual ED volumes of 42K patients/year in a brand new state-of-the-art 40 bed ED</li>
<li>Large catchment area and a full complement of collaborative specialists and subspecialists (PICU/NICU teams, pediatric sub-specialists, neuro-interventional team, STEMI team, etc)</li>
<li>8 and 9 hour shifts; double &amp; triple physician coverage with additional APP support 7 days/week</li>
<li>Admit to St. Mary’s Medical Center, the region’s tertiary referral center with adult and pediatric subspecialties; 330-bed hospital and Level I Adult and Level II Peds Trauma Center</li>
<li>Full spectrum of emergency medicine care including pediatrics</li>
<li>Opportunity to teach, if interested (FM residents, medical students)</li>
<li>Supportive and fun work environment with kind and collaborative consultants</li>
<li>Strong nurses with excellent nurse retention and mixture of experience as well as new energy</li>

<li>Scheduling is flexible – all partners work in Duluth, as well as rurally at a subset of our sites – each physician finds a mix of locations that they find fulfilling</li>
<li>Commute from Duluth: 10 min – 70 min (aside from Deer River, where only a couple of us work)</li>
<li>Virginia &amp; Superior: 12-hour physician shifts, with 12 hours of APP support</li>
<li>Aurora, Moose Lake, Sandstone, &amp; Deer River: single coverage, 12-hour or optional 24-hour shifts (no requirement to work 24s)</li>
<li>Telemedicine support (stroke, psychiatry, NICU, hospice, cardiology)</li>
