QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul>
<li>Education: Minimum BSN, MSN; Ohio Nursing and Advanced Nurse Practitioner Licensure; Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. </li>
<li>Licensure: Current OH Registered Nurse Practitioner license required; Current BLS and ACLS certification preferred. </li>
<ul>
<li>Registered with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). </li>
<li>Must be supervised by a physician. </li>
<li>Scope of practice is related directly to the NP’s supervising physician and individual state laws. </li>
</ul>
<li>Skills/Competencies:</li>
<ul>
<li>Knowledgeable of psychotropic drugs and their correct administration based on the age of the patient and their clinical condition. </li>
<li>Possess theoretical knowledge of psychopathology, current psychotherapies and intervention techniques. </li>
<li>Understand community and consumer cultural, social and economic beliefs, values and service needs. </li>
<li>Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations. </li>
<li>Demonstrate basic computer knowledge for the implementation of patient information electronic record keeping. </li>
<li>Must be emotionally and physically stable to work with the clientele, model self-care and assist the patient/client in meetings his/her goals. </li>
<li>Therapeutic Crisis Intervention training required. </li>
<li>Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively and effectively with multidisciplinary teams. </li>
<li>Demonstrate attention to detail. </li>
<li>Demonstrate ability to convey relevant clinical information in an accurate and concise manner. </li>
<li>Demonstrate aptitude for working with children and adolescents with mental illness. </li>

Job Summary:

<li>Receive, label, and triage all specimens for clinical testing (primarily blood, but also urine and tissue samples).</li>
<li>Catalog patient specimens accurately for analysis in collaboration with laboratory staff.</li>
<li>Manage clinical information using the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).</li>
<li>Conduct internal audits of clinical charts to ensure compliance and accuracy.</li>
<li>Work closely with other departments to maintain testing precision and quality standards.</li>

Qualifications
