EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience preferred in any of the following:&nbsp; Medicare, Medicaid and/or Commercial Insurance billing, collections, payment and reimbursement verification and/or refunds. POSITION SUMMARY: The Chief Therapist, in collaboration with and under the direction of the Manager of Medical Physics, is accountable for ongoing shift leadership, and for the operation of the Radiation Oncology department. The Chief Therapist provides direct supervision of the radiation therapy technologists, monitors patient workflow, educates the radiation therapy technologists when necessary, provides care for patients while delivering radiation therapy, and works as a Tech, as scheduled. The Chief Therapist coaches and guides radiation therapy technologists under his/her supervision; demonstrates Professionalism and Excellence by acting as a role model for clinical and service excellence. The Chief Therapist will be responsible for creating and maintaining the schedules, this will include finding coverage for time-off requests. 
 Requirements 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology, ARRT credentialed as a registered radiation therapy technologist.&nbsp; Bachelor Degree preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:&nbsp; Current Radiology license in the State of New Mexico.&nbsp;&nbsp;
SKILLS:
