We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist with clinical and administrative tasks, and contribute to a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with patient examinations and procedures under the supervision of healthcare providers.
- Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information.
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization.
- Administer medications and perform routine diagnostic tests as authorized.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Schedule Surgeries for Surgeon
- Gather Prior Auth's
- Maintain clear communication with Surgeons, Management and Team
- Follow up with Patient calls, emails, requests
- Provide patient education and support for follow-up care and treatments.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling, scheduling surgery, and answering patient inquiries.
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a CMA program.
- Proven experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Time management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. (eClinicalWorks)
- Current CPR certification.
