<li>Manage the pharmacy budget, control costs, and ensure the efficient use of resources while maintaining the highest quality of service</li>
<li>Responsible for meeting On time route release metrics</li>
<li>Able to monitor workflow dashboard and utilize scheduled staff to complete tasks</li>
<li>Assess staffing needs by monitoring metrics and forecasting business changes</li>
<li>Ensure all new staff are trained appropriately</li>
<li>Enlist HR with assistance on hiring and recruiting</li>
<li>Ensure all technician staff have state required licensure.</li>
<li>Work in conjunction with the Pharmacist-in-Charge with regards to overall pharmacy operations</li>
<li>Audit departmental expectations and develop plans of correction when not being met</li>
<li>Manage internal flow of communication, training on new technology, new policies and procedures and new work flows</li>
<li>Review daily and hourly reports to determine if workflow adjustments or staffing are necessary</li>
<li>Maintain clear communication with and provide direction to Shift Supervisors.</li>

The regular work schedule for this position is approximately 40+ hours per week (Monday-Friday) and may require additional days/hours as necessary. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception, Ability to adjust focus and Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education &amp; Experience: High School Diploma or GED; State license to handle medication, Management experience required, preferred to be from a Production setting. Pharmacy Technician Certification; or 3+ years of pharmacy experience; or an equivalent mix of education and experience. CPHT certification preferred.
Computer Skills: Intermediate proficiency with Pharmacy and medication distribution software. Experience with long term care pharmacy software preferred.
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as medication documentation, business correspondence and procedure manuals; ability to write routine reports and business correspondence; ability to speak effectively, both in person and by telephone, to customers or employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs; ability to understand and interpret statistical reports, data charts and graphs.
