Responsibilities

<li>Conduct pediatric&nbsp;patient assessments and evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical histories, and personal goals</li>
<li>Create and update treatment plans, testing&nbsp;and measuring patient’s strength and flexibility</li>
<li>Confer with physicians, patients and their families, nurses, therapists, social workers, and other members of a patient's care team</li>
<li>Demonstrate exercises that can help pediatric&nbsp;patients better perform everyday tasks and relieve pain</li>
<li>Evaluate a pediatric&nbsp;patient’s home and identify potential improvements based on their needs</li>
<li>Educate a pediatric&nbsp;patient’s family about how to help care for and accommodate them</li>
<li>Assess pediatric&nbsp;patient's progress against goals and prepare reports for healthcare providers and insurance agencies</li>
<li>Complete all clinical notes in a timely manner using the company’s EMR system</li>
<li>Contribute to meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans for patients</li>

Qualifications 
<ul>
<li>Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy&nbsp;program</li>
<li>Current and unrestricted NV Physical Therapy&nbsp;license; or ability to apply</li>
<li>At least one year of experience as a pediatric physical therapist&nbsp;is&nbsp;preferred</li>
<li>Continued education requirements maintained</li>
<li>Current state drivers license and auto insurance</li>
<li>Current CPR certification</li>

<li>PointClickCare, MatrixCare, and American HealthTech are the most commonly used facility EHR systems. </li>

<li>Timely attendance is imperative.</li>

Shift Structure
