Minimum Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Current dental hygienist license in Florida and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as required)</li>
<li>Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation</li>
<li>CPR Certification</li>
</ul>
Preferred Experience
<ul>
<li>At least 1 year of clinical experience</li>
<li>Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems</li>
<li>A desire to continue learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventive care</li>
<li>Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office</li>
</ul>
Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to fulfill the essential functions of the role.</li>
<li>Ability to sit and stand for extended periods</li>
<li>Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally</li>
<li>Willingness to attend virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year</li>
<li>To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This is a standard requirement and must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided. This requirement does not apply in Florida and Tennessee.</li>
