JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse DEPARTMENT: Pre-Operative / Post-Operative / PACU FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt SUMMARY
Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with established Federal, State and accreditation standards and ASC policies and procedures. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under his/her direction. Participates in direct patient care and maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
<ul>
<li>Ability to supervise and direct patient care in an individual Operating Room. </li>
<li>Ensures that proper techniques and practices are used in accordance to accepted standards of practice. </li>
<li>Complies with HIPAA regulations and is knowledgeable of patient rights.</li>
<li>Performs duties in an ethical and legal manner within the scope of their license as defined by the State.</li>
<li>Supervises other personnel in the room and directs or assists as necessary. </li>
<li>Immediately reports and unusual occurrences to charge personnel, documents appropriately in the patient record. </li>
<li>Demonstrates primary nursing accountability through coordination, communication and continuity of patient care. </li>
<li>Assess, prioritize, plan and implement patient care in an effective manner. </li>
<li>Maintains medical records in an accurate and legible manner. </li>
<li>Participates in continuing education/in-service training as needed, staff meetings, and Q.A.P.I. program. </li>
<li>Follows Physician orders and directions from management.</li>
<li>Actively participates in the development of a healthy work environment. </li>
<li>Assists in training new staff when needed.</li>
<li>Balances team and individual responsibilities.</li>
<li>Recognizes each department's significance and works appropriately with other departments. </li>

QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 
<ul>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required </li>
<li>Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing preferred</li>
<li>Previous nursing experience in at least one of the following settings is preferred: Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC), Pre/Post-Op, PACU, ICU, Emergency Room, Medical Surgical or Telemetry floors</li>
<li>Strong IV skills are preferred </li>
</ul>
LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS 
<ul>
<li>Current Registered Nurse (RN) License required in the state where the worksite is located</li>
<li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li>
<li>Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred </li>
</ul>
SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY 
<ul>
<li>Should have knowledge of Amkai Office and Amkai Charts Database software</li>
<li>Knowledge of patient monitoring and emergency equipment</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook</li>

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
<ul>
<li>This role requires a variety of physical activities to effectively perform essential job functions. The position involves frequent walking (75%), sitting (50%), and standing (50%), with regular bending, stooping, and reaching (25–50%). Employees must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25 lbs. Strong fine motor skills and full use of hands are essential, as the role demands constant grasping, writing/typing, and use of technology. Visual and auditory acuity—including color, depth, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus—is required 100% of the time. Occasional driving or climbing may also be necessary.</li>

Position Summary
HYBRID ROLE . Tuesday/Thursday in office - M/W/F - Remote
This role is responsible for facilitating all aspects of onboarding and credentialing for clinical and field-based personnel. The Clinical Onboarding and Credentialing Specialist will organize, maintain, and verify all aspects of the process and maintain current clinical and field-based staff files. Additionally, they will provide a positive customer service experience to team members, including clinical and field staff and payors, by being the point of contact and assisting them with related inquiries
Success Measures
Success measures include adherence to Centria policies, flawless execution of tasks, and meeting or exceeding personal qualitative and/or quantitative key performance indicator (KPI) metrics such as customer satisfaction, meeting targeted onboarding and credentialing timelines, and maintaining at or below metrics provided for credentialing denials.
Duties and Responsibilities

Onboarding 30%

<li>Manage candidate applications, associated pre-hire requirements, and maintain detailed records in CareConnect and the HRIS platform.</li>
<li>Communicate regulations, policies, and procedures to team members, including clinical and field</li>
<li>Engage candidates and assist with setting schedules and expectations, enrolling them in required courses, and tracking activity completion.</li>
<li>Track the candidate's daily progress against their schedule for onboarding and escalate any delay concerns to the appropriate party.</li>
<li>Partner with the Recruiting and Operations teams regarding candidate and team member</li>
</ul>
Credentialing 50%
<ul>
<li>Assist clinical and field staff in applying/registering for certifications, licensure, , needed for credentialing.</li>
<li>Obtain and review certifications, licenses, and other required credentialing documents to maintain up-to-date personnel files.</li>
<li>Submit and follow up with payor credentialing applications via phone, email, or proprietary</li>
<li>Partner with the Family Financial Navigation (FFNT) and Billing teams to resolve any potential or outstanding claim issues related to credentialing.</li>
<li>Set up new service location addresses or markets in collaboration with the Contracting team.</li>
<li>Create applicable internal and external accounts, as needed.</li>
</ul>
Customer Service 10%
<ul>
<li>Serve as a resource for team members with questions regarding Centria guidelines, payor requirements, etc.</li>
<li>Follow-up via email or service desk with team members within 24 hours and maintain a customer satisfaction rating above 90%.</li>
</ul>
Projects 10%

<li>Participate in major projects and the implementation of new initiatives and</li>
<li>Assist with ad hoc reports as needed</li>

Education
