About the role:
The Clinical Support Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the PULSE Clinical Consulting Team. This position is responsible for managing referral workflows, triaging the team inbox, responding to client and network inquiries, and ensuring accurate documentation across systems. The role also involves conducting an initial review of high-cost claim notifications and other case alerts to help prioritize and route cases for clinical consultant follow-up. As a key support resource, this position helps streamline processes, enabling the clinical consultants to focus on delivering strategic clinical insights and cost containment solutions to clients and partners.
JOB DUTIES

<li>Review and format various reports to identify potential ongoing risk.</li>

<li>Coordinate with vendor network partners to facilitate referral placements, ensuring timely communication and alignment with client needs and service timelines</li>
<li>Communicate with vendor partners to facilitate case updates, ensure service timelines are met and document outcomes in internal documentation systems.</li>
<li>Assist with special projects, data gathering, and ad-hoc reporting requests</li>
<li>Organize and maintain team resource libraries, SOPs, templates, and reference materials.</li>
<li>Ability to consistently meet deadlines</li>

Qualifications 
QUALIFICATIONS:
Computer Skills
<ul>
<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft programs including but not limited to Excel, Outlook and Word.&nbsp; Must be able to learn other software programs required by the department.</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, or related field preferred</li>
<li>2+ years of experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a healthcare or insurance setting</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact professionally with internal teams, clients and vendors.</li>
<li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, supporting multiple team members</li>
<li>Experience managing shared inboxes, tracking logs, and follow-up workflows</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with strong data entry and documentation skills</li>
</ul>
Preferred (Nice to Have) Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Familiarity with healthcare terminology, claims workflows, or billing processes</li>
<li>Experience supporting clinical teams, case management, or provider networks</li>
<li>Prior exposure to reinsurance, stop-loss, or healthcare payer operations</li>
<li>Prior experience working with transplant vendors</li>
<li>Experience working with healthcare documentation systems (e.g., ShareFile, or similar tools)</li>
<li>Prior exposure to reinsurance, stop-loss, or healthcare payer operations</li>
<li>Knowledge of medical billing codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, DRGs)</li>
