As a key member of the Optimizing the Human Weapon System (OHWS) program, the Physical Therapist plays a critical role in sustaining the health, readiness, and performance of U.S. Air Force fighter aircrew. Embedded within operational squadrons, the PT addresses flight-related musculoskeletal injuries—particularly neck and back pain caused by high-G environments—and develops individualized injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance optimization plans. By providing direct care, ergonomic education, and recovery strategies, the PT helps mitigate mission-impacting injuries, reduces downtime, and enhances aircrew longevity. Job Duties:

About the Role
The PAT/ PreOp/ PACU RN is responsible to handle inbound pre-operative patients to ensure patients receive quality pre-operative screening for our surgical procedures and Post anesthetic care patients emerging from the haze of anesthesia. There are several tasks a PACU nurse needs to perform in a post-operative unit such as guiding patients to consciousness and assisting them in handling personal needs in the first few hours after surgery. 
A PAT / PreOp / PACU nurse is important not just for their role as a guide in the outcome of a surgery but also for handling medication administration duties which are very important at this stage. Even though most patients do not remember the PAT / PreOp / PACU nurse that attended to their needs, they play an imperative role in helping patients start on the road to recovery. 
POSITION’S ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 
Pre-admissions Testing Nurse Duties:

<li>Pre-admission testing nurse or PAT nurse duties include overseeing intake, during which you perform an initial physical assessment and interview the patient to obtain their medical history. </li>
<li>PAT duties include performing any tests the surgeon has ordered, such as an EKG, and may be expected to draw blood for lab work. </li>
<li>PAT nurses are often among the first people patients deal with as they prepare to have surgery. The PAT nurse is expected to help patients understand the process, answer any questions they might have, and discuss their post-surgical care plan with them. </li>
<li>Preoperative Duties of Nurse: </li>

These Mental Health Specialist II (MHS2) work in our Acute Behavioral Services (ABS) programs. ABS sites are highly specialized programs in which we serve individuals with intensive, interfering behavioral and mental health needs.&nbsp; The persons receiving these services have many of the following characteristics: previously placed in a highly restricted facility, high incidence of crisis situations, high behaviors or anti-social issues, multiple hospitalizations/commitments/ institutional stays, history of law enforcement involvement due to behaviors, and multiple failed placements. These group homes have been significantly modified to eliminate safety concerns. Consistency and routine are key factors in the proven success of these programs.&nbsp; Because of the complex/high level behaviors, MHS2's are provided training for manual restraints and will experience mental, emotional, and physical manipulation from the person we support. Staff may be exposed to severe verbal aggression that may include disparaging remarks, racial slurs and swearing.&nbsp; ABS programs utilize a person-centered approach to creating a program that focuses on supporting a person to reach their goals while still considering the safety of the individual, staff, and the community.&nbsp;

Job Description 
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The case manager position is designed to assist person served in identifying and acquiring both natural and paid supports which allow them to live as independently as possible in the community. The case manager should assist the individual in a person centered approach, in a way which supports the person in making his/her own choices and decisions about these supports. The case manager should function as an educator and a resource as well as service coordinator. Life decisions should be made by the individual and/or guardian.&nbsp;
The case manager will focus on coordinating services for vulnerable individuals and assisting them to navigate the complex service delivery system. The position will provide a systematic process of on-going assessment, planning, referral, service coordination, monitoring, consultation and advocacy assistance, through which multiple service needs of individuals are addressed. This position will be responsible for directly coordinating a caseload, and facilitate/coordinate other services or supports, which will positively influence individuals’ lives.
The case manager will have contact with a wide range of organizations, families, and other community members. The case manager will act in a professional manner at all times, and understand that they represent the interests of the individual they support.
Work Environment and Hours:&nbsp;
This position will require local travel on a weekly basis. A hybrid remote work environment is available, but applicants should expect to travel regularly throughout the work week to meet the needs of the clients served.

Qualifications
