What your day as a Behavioral Health Technician will look like:
<ul>
<li>At the child's home, you will adapt teaching techniques to various physical and mental behaviors to provide one-on-one developmental and behavioral support, understanding some patient styles may be more confrontational than others.</li>
<li>For guided help, you will partner with a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans which may include many physical and mental exercises to provide optimal support to your assigned child.</li>
<li>You will use you evidence-based techniques to engage actively with children with physical activity which may include standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting and at times carrying children or objects that weigh up to 50 pounds.</li>

IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR POSITION TITLE:. Manager, Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor
SUMMARY: Functioning under direct supervision of a registered RN, the Nursing Graduate is the beginning practitioner with a basic generic nursing education background. Qualifications 
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: To qualify for the position, the candidate must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Successful completion of required nursing, hospital and unit orientation including but not limited to BCLS certification. Candidate must pass the NCLEX examination within 90 days of graduation.
CONDITIONS: The Nursing Graduate will be required to use the initials “NG” after their name as their credentials. The Nursing Graduate will remain in this position for no more than 90 days from the date of graduation from an accredited school of nursing. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Maryland within 90 days of graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current BCLS certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Will work in a clean, well-lighted environment. The job requires pushing and pulling and lifting of equipment weighing in excess of 35 pounds up to 40% of the time. Requires lifting and positioning of patients, weighing up to 300 pounds, with the assistance of other staff members, up to 60% of the time. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. 
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to support K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Fredericksburg, VA. This contract position spans the entire 2025-2026 school year and offers a valuable opportunity for both certified clinicians and those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
