Qualifications

Overview: Rovel Dental is seeking a friendly, skilled, and motivated&nbsp;Registered Dental Hygienist&nbsp;to join our growing team. This role is available&nbsp;Tuesday through Thursday, with some Fridays, in a fast-paced, supportive environment focused on exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

<li>Conduct initial oral health assessments and review medical histories</li>
<li>Take blood pressure, pulse, and other relevant vitals</li>
<li>Perform dental cleanings and polishing (prophylaxis)</li>
<li>Apply fluoride and other preventive agents</li>
<li>Capture and analyze diagnostic x-rays in accordance with safety protocols</li>
<li>Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and make personalized recommendations</li>
<li>Counsel patients on diet, product usage, and habits that promote oral health</li>
<li>Assess, treat, and monitor patients with periodontal disease</li>
<li>Perform periodontal charting, scaling, root planing, and maintenance therapy</li>
<li>Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols strictly</li>
<li>Accurately document treatments and observations in patient records</li>
<li>Support dentists in implementing treatment plans and recommending home care products</li>
<li>Ensure patients are informed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit</li>
<li>Provide post-treatment guidance and care instructions</li>
<li>Stay current with the latest hygiene practices and clinical techniques</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:

<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program</li>
<li>Current Florida RDH license</li>
<li>Valid Florida Dental Radiographer license</li>
<li>CPR/BLS certification</li>
