Millennium Health LLC is an accredited specialty laboratory with more than a decade of experience in medication monitoring and drug testing services, helping clinicians monitor use of prescription medications and illicit drugs supporting improved clinical decision-making as part of treatment for millions of Americans with chronic pain, mental illness, and substance use disorders. 
The Specimen Collector II is a key role at Millennium Health. As our representative, this position provides exemplary care and exceptional customer service to patients, clinicians, and our laboratory. 
As a Specimen Collector II: 
<ul>
<li>Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid (saliva) specimens </li>
<li>Process and package collections for shipping </li>
<li>Serve as an intermediary between the practice / clinic and the laboratory </li>
<li>Record patient information, physician order details, and pertinent laboratory information </li>
<li>Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in ordering portal </li>
<li>Order and maintain collection supplies inventory onsite </li>
<li>Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens (when applicable) </li>
<li>Driving from/to multiple facilities may be required and occasional overnight coverage. </li>

Requirements
Ideal Candidate: 
<ul>
<li>6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field, directly supporting patients preferred </li>
<li>2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience </li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to navigate a smart phone and computer required </li>
<li>Valid driver’s license required; reliable transportation</li>
<li>Medical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes is a plus </li>
<li>Ability to ensure HIPAA, HiTrust, Confidentiality and Compliance policy, procedures, and standards are always adhered to. </li>
<li>Ability to ensure administrative, physical and technical cyber security controls are always adhered to </li>
<li>High School diploma or equivalent required </li>

<li>Participate in consultation with other professionals by attending Weekly SUD Case Consultation. Present client cases monthly, implement feedback into client's treatment plan and document accordingly.</li>
<li>Address co-occurring disorders of clients, including client education on symptoms of mental illness, the possibility of comorbidity, and the need for continued medication compliance while recovering from substance use disorder.</li>

Summary The Center is looking for compassionate LADC/ADC-T to help provide direction and support to our patients. You will actively help patients build coping mechanisms to guide them through stressful situations. Your duties will also include listening to clients, asking necessary questions, and developing effective strategies to improve their lives. As a Counselor within Clearpath you will work with patients specifically with an opioid substance abuse. You'll manage of a case load up to 60 patients and meet with them once a month at the minimum. The CORE FUNCTIONS of this position are as follows: screening, intake, orientation, assessment, treatment planning, counseling (group, individual and family), case management, crisis intervention, client education, referral, reports, record keeping, and consultation with other professionals Programs will include SUD and Mental health services Responsibilities:

<li>Facilitate group and individual counseling with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.</li>
<li>Creating effective treatment plans that include counseling, case management or other services within the 12 core functions.</li>
<li>Discussing the treatment plan goal with your patient on a regular basis to identify faults or room for improvement.</li>
<li>Educating patients about appropriate coping mechanisms to help them through tough situations.</li>
<li>Recording the patient's progress and changing their treatment plan when needed.</li>

Requirements:

<li>Qualified individuals must be licensed by the state of Minnesota as an LADC;</li>
<li>have a temporary permit (ADC-T-permit);</li>
<li>or have a license in a behavioral health field such as LSW, LPCC, LISW, LICSW, etc.</li>
