Location: Duluth, MN

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift: Monday-Friday, Weekends as applicable

We are seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to lead our dietary services and ensure the delivery of high-quality, nutritious meals that meet the individual needs of our residents.

Position Summary: The Certified Dietary Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the dietary department, including meal planning, food preparation, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance. This position plays a critical role in ensuring residents recieve meals that support their health and well-being.

Key Responsbilites:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise the preparation and service of meals in accordance with physician orders, resident preferences, and dietary guidelines.

• Ensure meals meet nutritional standards and are served in a timely and appealing manner.

• Supervise, train, and schedule dietary staff, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.

• Manager food and supply inventory, ordering as needed while staying within budget.

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including sanitation, food handling, and documentation requirements.

• Conduct regular audits and inspections of food service areas to ensure cleanliness and quality.

• Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to accomodate special dietary needs and preferences.

Qualifications:

• Current Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential required.

• Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

• Knowledge of clinical nutrition, menu planning, and regulatory requirements.

• ServSafe certification or equivalent food safety certification preferred.
