Summary of Major Responsibilities:
Therapists at Prosperous Health The Peninsula provide direct clinical services to clients, including individual, group, and family therapy. Reporting to the Clinical Supervisor, this role focuses on delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to support clients recovery and mental health goals. Therapists play a crucial role in creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that enables clients to heal and thrive.
 
Detailed Duty Statement:

<li>Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to each client's needs.</li>
<li>Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with clinical goals and best practices.</li>
<li>Conduct comprehensive assessments, including biopsychosocial evaluations and risk assessments.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.</li>

Qualifications Needed:

<li>Experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, preferably in outpatient or residential settings.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in therapy, such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or Motivational Interviewing.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.</li>
<li>Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.</li>
<li>Commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.</li>
