Title: Ophthalmic Scribe
Location: Denver Metropolitan Area (Sheridan, Aurora, Broomfield, Lakewood)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | No Weekends
Pay: $22-$32/hour (DOE) + Benefits
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Ophthalmic Scribe to support physicians by documenting patient encounters in real time and ensuring accurate, efficient clinical records. This role is ideal for candidates with strong medical documentation skills and familiarity with ophthalmology workflows.
Key Responsibilities

Scribe physician-patient encounters in real time

Accurately document exam findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans

Update and manage EMR records efficiently

Assist physicians during patient visits to improve workflow

Ensure timely and complete charting for each encounter

Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

Support administrative and clinical coordination tasks as needed
Qualifications
Required:

Experience in Ophthalmology, Optometry, or Medical Scribing

Strong typing speed and accuracy
-
Knowledge of medical terminology (ophthalmology preferred)

Excellent attention to detail
Preferred:

Ophthalmic Scribe Certification (OSC)

Prior experience with EMR systems

Bilingual (Spanish)
