The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Prosperous Health The Peninsula directly supports clients in behavioral health and substance use disorder programs. Reporting to the Program Supervisor, this role is responsible for assisting with daily activities, monitoring client safety, and supporting the clinical team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

Qualifications Needed:

Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the EAP Counselor IV is responsible for providing short-term counseling to employees and household members of contracted EAP companies in person and via telehealth. Provides clinical services within the scope of practice, as defined by the state laws governing the practice of nursing, in accordance with the plan of care, and in coordination with other members of the health care team.&nbsp;
Receives referrals, ensures appropriate clinician assignments, evaluate patient orders, and plot start of care visits.&nbsp;
Coordinates determination of patient home health benefits, medical necessity, and ongoing insurance approvals.&nbsp;

<li>Receives report from field clinicians prior to scheduled days off on patient status and ongoing needs.</li>
<li>Processes new orders and updates the visit frequency, as appropriate, when the oncall RN takes supplemental verbal orders which alter frequency going forward.</li>

Essential Functions &amp; Responsibilities

<li>The physician serves as the attending physician for the residents residing at each facility;</li>
