Job Description
Registered Behavior Technicians provide 1:1 behavioral intervention to individuals diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide direct services to both children and adults in a variety of settings including private homes, schools, clinics and community settings.
Behavior Technicians implement behavioral strategies to improve socially significant behaviors and quality of life. This includes implementation of a treatment plan developed by a BCBA addressing&nbsp; communication, challenging behavior, daily living, safety and social skills. The Behavior Technician is responsible for monitoring patient progress by completing daily data collection and clinical documentation.
Essential Duties Include The Following:

<li>Communicate BCI’s philosophy of positive behavioral practice, compassion and respect</li>
<li>Follow all policies and protocols set forth in the BCI employee handbook</li>
<li>Collect daily data as prescribed by your supervisor (BCBA)</li>
<li>Complete clinical documentation to communicate with team members and insurance funders about progress on goals and any barriers</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation</li>
<li>Implement the strategies outlined in the patient’s behavior intervention plan</li>
<li>Timely communication with your supervisor about the child you are working with, especially if there are any concerns</li>
<li>Direct the child’s caregivers and circle of support to your supervisor (BCBA) for any questions pertaining to the child’s goals being addressed, progress being made, strategies to employ</li>
<li>Maintain professional boundaries with the child, family and circle of support per the BACB Professional and ethical Code of Conduct</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned by Supervisor</li>

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner- PRN JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Practitioner will provide psychiatric evaluation and services to patients under the supervision of a physician in Bluestone Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

<li>Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors and document any unusual incidents. Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient. </li>
<li>Participate in treatment planning for each patient and work cooperatively as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. </li>
<li>Review clinical information to determine appropriate level of care for patients referred for services for admission and continued stay. </li>
<li>Facilitate admission of patients to the inpatient hospital, including reviewing all clinical information presented by intake, entering/validating all admission, medications, and precaution orders. Perform initial psychiatric evaluations within 24 hours of admission and all subsequent daily psychiatric progress notes. </li>
<li>Communicate with guardians to gather historical information and consent for medications within the first 24 hours of patient admission. Provide education/counseling for patients and their families on an ongoing basis. </li>
<li>Ensure all services are medically necessary and appropriate by adhering to all accreditation and certification standards. </li>
<li>Order, prescribe, dispense and administer drugs and medical devices within scope of practice (See individual state laws). Defer to the supervising physician with difficult cases or when a case is out of the scope of practice. </li>
<li>Initiate and continue seclusion/restraint orders as needed. </li>
<li>Work weekend and holiday rotations as the psychiatric provider for the hospital. Provide on-call coverage after-hours for weekends and holidays. </li>

<li>Ensure all documentation meets current standards and policies and is completed on the day of service. </li>
