THE JOB
As a Sonographer, your focus is on ultrasound support for VEG hospitals and training facilities. This means working closely with our emergency doctors to provide same-day ultrasound scans for pets when they need it most. You'll deal with a variety of patient types and scans, so being comfortable adapting to new scenarios and willing to learn new techniques and think outside the box are all part of your day-to-day. WHAT YOU'LL DO

<li>Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.</li>
<li>Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration;</li>
<li>Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty, by a board acceptable to Hospital;</li>
<li>Obtain Medical Staff Privileges within the Health system, at sponsoring institution</li>
<li>Doctorate MD or DO required</li>
<li>DR-Current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Utah required</li>

Join our team as an RN Practitioner. In the RN Practitioner role you will:

<li>Graduate from an Accredited School Of Nursing required</li>
<li>Registered Nurse Practitioner Licensure for; and listed on the state Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Registry required. Board certified as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, in applicable population foci and/or sub-specialty.</li>
<li>RN License required</li>
<li>BLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting</li>
<li>ACLS from the American Heart Association may be required depending on practice setting</li>
<li>Have Prescriptive Authority (RXN) or have Provisional Prescriptive Authority (RXN-P), if applicable for role with associated articulated plan.</li>
