Your Role as a Dental Assistant
<ul>
<li>Assist endodontists chairside during root canals, retreatments, and surgical procedures</li>
<li>Prepare operatories and sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards</li>
<li>Capture and process digital x-rays for diagnostic accuracy</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage supply inventory</li>
<li>Provide patient education on post-procedure care and ensure comfort throughout each visit</li>
<li>Support the front office and ensure a seamless patient experience</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent (required)</li>
<li>Dental Assistant certification or completion of a CODA-accredited program (preferred)</li>
<li>DANB CDA, ICE, RHS, and CPR certifications (preferred)</li>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience (specialty experience a plus)</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a team-first mindset</li>

<li>Collect and verify insurance and authorization information</li>
<li>Enter and maintain accurate client information in the EMR system</li>

<li>Communicate effectively with patients, families, clinicians, and staff to ensure care continuity</li>
<li>Update schedules and adjust staffing promptly based on changes or emergencies</li>
<li>Track and follow up on pending authorizations and missing documentation</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all agency policies and procedures</li>

Qualifications:

<li>2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferably home health or hospice)</li>
<li>Experience with EMR systems (e.g., Home Solutions, WellSky, Axxess, HHAeXchange, or similar)</li>
<li>Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li>
<li>Bilingual a plus (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin, etc.)</li>
