<ul>
<li>Master's degree in nursing</li>
<li>Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)</li>
</ul>
License:  &nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Arizona</li>
<li>Current BLS and ACLS certifications</li>
<li>Be certified as a Mental Health First Aid Instructor (Mental Health First Aid America certification or equivalent)</li>
<li>Occupational Health qualification or significant experience&nbsp;(Certifications may be obtained through and sponsored by Aspen Medical)</li>
<li>Qualifications and/or experience in emergency medicine, triage, and treatment</li>
</ul>
Experience:  &nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 3 years’ clinic management experience in remote locations</li>
<li>Experience in emergency medicine, triage, and treatment. Must have strong emergency medical/trauma care skills and have proven occupational health qualification, or equivalent experience in a construction and/or industrial environment site setting</li>
<li>Post Graduate Occupational Health qualification or significant experience</li>
<li>Knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)</li>
</ul>
Certification:&nbsp;
<ul>
<li>Certified in the specialty required as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)</li>
</ul>
Job Duties to in included but are not limited to the following:
<ul>
<li>Implement the site-specific Operating Procedures and Policies, medical plans and protocols, facility requirements, emergency procedures, audits &amp; inspections, quality assurance, and other medical practice management tasks</li>
<li>Conduct quarterly, bimonthly and monthly audits as required</li>
<li>Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the clinics</li>
<li>Aid in the management of occupational rehabilitation, and return to work</li>
<li>Prescribes medications within the statutory and regulatory standards, limits, and conditions&nbsp;</li>
<li>Nurse Practitioners and within applicable employer policies and procedures. Applies knowledge of pharmacology and evidence-based practice in selecting, prescribing, administering and monitoring the effects of drugs to treat medical conditions or injuries</li>
<li>Use the Electronic Medical Records Systems to ensure accuracy and maintenance of all medical records. Regular audits are to be conducted on medical records</li>
<li>Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting at the clinic at a Clinical Nurse Team Leader / NP level as required</li>
<li>Monitor the status of Project personnel hospitalized in regional facilities as required</li>
<li>Ensure the main clinic dispensary is properly secured and a pharmacy management program is in place and implemented</li>
<li>Support project programs and preventative medicine activities as required, including, and not limited to health education activities, well-being programs, and mental health well-being programs</li>
</ul>
