<li>Selects and adjusts fixtures and spacers.</li>

<li>Heats or chills parts as necessary.</li>
\n
<li>Drills, taps, reams for set screws or dowels.</li>
\n
<li>Cools or chills assemblies with air or water and checks dimensions.</li>
\n
<li>Determines number of heating torches and location of heat application.</li>
\n
<li>Operates balancing equipment in accordance with procedures.</li>
\n
<li>Set up by installing proper adapters, bearings, arbors, and adjusting the balancing machine.</li>
\n
<li>Balances parts in one, two, or three planes.</li>
\n
<li>Perform the babbitting process as required.</li>
\n
<li>Perform hot metal duties (including lead, tin, torch work, heat / cooling) as specified.</li>
\n
<li>Checks surface of material for any condition which may affect coating.</li>
\n
<li>Directs spray and periodically measures amount of coating.</li>
\n
<li>Changes spray coat wire and gases as needed.</li>
\n
<li>Moves material prior to re-application for rework and repair processes.</li>
\n
<li>Notes malfunctions and makes correction adjustments.</li>
\n
<li>Uses a job hoist, overhead crane, work saver, or forklift truck to maneuver material.</li>
\n
<li>Performs crane hooking and unhooking as required.</li>
\n
<li>Reports production count, time, and data verbally to supervisor or inspector.</li>
\n
<li>Assist in developing and maintaining departmental procedures and associated process metrics related to process cost, quality, cycle time, and timeliness.</li>
\n
<li>Wipes tools and keeps work areas clean.</li>
\n
<li>Maintains good housekeeping by keeping tools, material, and equipment in proper place.</li>
\n
<li>Reports defective material and equipment to supervision.</li>
\n
<li>Observes all safety rules.</li>

\n Qualifications

<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
\n
<li>Must be able and willing to work 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm) and 3rd (11pm-7am) shifts. Shifts are not guaranteed and are subject to shift realignment.</li>

<li>Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.</li>

*Able to use hand tools such as shovels, picks. jack hammers, saws, power drills, and cement finishing tools.
*Break up concrete and dig dirt to install interior and some exterior drain systems for basement waterproofing, French drains, and downspouts.
*Install foundation repair solutions including wall anchors, steel I-beams, carbon fiber straps, and piering.
*Install sump pumps and air flow systems.
