Sr Regulatory Data Analyst
Type: W2 Contract
Schedule: On site 5 days a week
Location: Pittsburgh or Cleveland
Rate: $72/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Regulatory Data Analyst to support enterprise?level regulatory reporting and analytics initiatives for a large financial institution. This role focuses on banking regulatory submissions, large?scale data analysis, and business intelligence reporting, with a strong emphasis on FR?2052A (Liquidity / 14A) reporting, Axiom, Tableau, and advanced SQL.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of regulatory knowledge, data warehousing expertise, and analytical skills, partnering closely with business, risk, and regulatory teams to deliver accurate, timely, and auditable reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and analytical reports using Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and other BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
- Support banking regulatory submissions, with a primary focus on FR?2052A (Liquidity / 14A) reporting and related regulatory deliverables.
- Work with Axiom platforms to source, validate, and reconcile regulatory data used in submissions.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to support regulatory, operational, and analytical reporting.
- Contribute to data warehouse architecture, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data quality controls.
- Collaborate with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical data solutions.
- Ensure documentation, controls, and audit support are in place for regulatory reviews and examinations.
- Participate in problem solving, issue resolution, and process improvements related to data quality and reporting timelines.
Required Skills & Experience
- Hands?on experience with Tableau (Desktop and Prep) for reporting and analytics.
- Strong experience using Axiom for regulatory reporting.
- Demonstrated experience supporting Banking Regulatory Submissions, specifically FR?2052A.
- Advanced SQL expertise, including performance tuning and working with very large datasets (preferably in Oracle).
- Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts, data modeling techniques, and end?to?end ETL processes.
- Experience working with multiple relational databases, such as Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, and similar platforms.
- Prior experience in banking environments, preferably supporting regulatory or liquidity?related applications.
Preferred / Flex Skills
- Experience with Liquidity or 14A regulations beyond FR?2052A.
- Python (basic to intermediate) for automation, data transformations, or analytical tasks.
- Exposure to ETL tools, such as Informatica.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools or CI/CD concepts is a plus

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
