PRINCIPAL PURPOSE OF JOB:&nbsp; The Extension Associate – Forestry and Invasive Plant position in the Forestry and Natural Resources program will support invasive plant management efforts in the Franklin, Owen, and Henry County region of Kentucky. 
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This position will coordinate the joint efforts of Kentucky State University (KSU), the Frankfort/Franklin County Joint Task Force on Invasives, and related initiatives to improve natural lands in the target region. These efforts include cooperative invasive plant management, tracking invasive plant infestations, training and education events, and pursuit of funding opportunities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
<ul>Plan and implement invasive plant management efforts in the Franklin, Owen, and Henry County region of Kentucky.Identify and track invasive plant populations and management efforts in the target region.Develop public and professional training and education opportunities and support partner efforts.Provide technical guidance to landowners and professional partners regarding invasive plant management practices and situations.Pursue funding opportunities and develop new partnerships related to invasive plant management.Safely and efficiently operate university vehicles, herbicide application equipment, chainsaws and other land management implements. Professionally represent KSU and the Forestry and Natural Resources program at all times including during outdoor workdays, public events, and professional meetings.Administration, record keeping, and report writing related to project efforts.Travel to project sites and meetings, as needed.</ul>

Program Coordinator

These fellowships provide support to scholars studying race and ethnicity from a broad range of fields in the social sciences and humanities, including education, criminal justice, environmental studies, international studies (e.g., climate, human rights, and development), gender/sexualities, public health, and media (e.g., consumer culture, game design, film, social media activism, and sports media). We are particularly interested in candidates whose research intersects with African American and African Diaspora Studies, Native and Indigenous Studies, Latino Studies, Asian American Studies, African Studies, Latin American Studies, and/or Global Indigenous Studies. Fellows will be placed in one of IU’s <a href="https://www.indiana.edu/academics/schools.html" target="_blank">sixteen degree granting schools</a>, and are expected to pursue research activities associated with their primary area of work, as demonstrated by conference presentations and published works. Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian university environment to apply a tenure-track professor of law position.&nbsp;The tenure-track faculty position is a nine-month appointment that will begin in August 2024 at the rank of Associate Professor.&nbsp;&nbsp;
Required qualifications for Associate Professor of Law include outstanding academic credentials, including a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent degree, demonstrated experience in a relevant subject matter, a demonstrated record of publication and research agenda, and several years of experience as a tenure-track professor of law at an ABA-accredited law school or equivalent experience as a tenure-track professor teaching legal subjects (e.g., business law) at a college or university. &nbsp;&nbsp;

Assistant Professor of Marketing

Elizabethtown College invites applicants to apply for a full-time position of&nbsp;Lecturer in Physician Assistant Studies. There are 2 positions available. Each position is a permanent 12-month faculty position to begin&nbsp;January 1, 2024&nbsp;with regular annual renewal, pending satisfactory performance. The Physician Assistant Program is a graduate program housed within the School of Human and Health Professions, which is grounded in the mission of Elizabethtown College: Educate for Service. Our program provides an integrated curriculum including the art of medicine that will provide students with a transformative educational experience that emphasizes purposeful work, cultivates personal strengths and develops a passion for lifelong learning.
Job Duties:
Successful colleagues will provide evidence of effective teaching and clinical work as well as be prepared to offer courses in both the didactic and clinical years. Primary responsibilities will be to didactic year students; however, all principal faculty will be fully integrated into the clinical year of the program and will provide graduate level instruction in all phases of the program. This position will assist the program director in the review, planning and development of the program. The candidate will participate in the accreditation process including ongoing course assessments, student assessments, remediation, faculty/staff assessments, program assessments, competency evaluations, accreditation site visits and data collection. This position actively participates in student recruitment and admissions (both undergraduate and graduate physician assistant studies) and student advising (both undergraduate and undergraduate). The position includes emphasis on service and scholarly activities for one’s own growth and development and the benefit of the institution and program. Candidates should have a strong interest in designing enriching experiences for students that foster community engagement, holistic views of medicine and deeper understanding of human behavior. The candidate is expected to contribute to an environment that supports diversity, collegiality, teamwork, and inclusive teaching approaches.
The position also requires maintenance of a professional development plan which addresses standard performance expectations in areas of teaching, scholarship, and service, with attention to diversity, equity, accessibility, and justice.
Required Qualifications:
· Graduate of&nbsp;ARC-PA accredited program or other associated accredited program specific to applicant’s discipline · Current&nbsp;NCCPA&nbsp;certification or current certification per applicant’s discipline · Five years or more of clinical experience · At least three years of quality teaching experience in higher education or related experience. Candidates are required to provide evidence of successful academic teaching experience,
