Job Summary
Boathouse Marine is seeking a highly skilled Certified Marine Technician to join our
service team in West Palm Beach / Riviera Beach, Florida. This is a 100% on-site
position and certification is REQUIRED.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience servicing and repairing outboard boat
motors and holds current certifications with Yamaha, Suzuki, and/or Mercury. This role
is not suited for candidates with automotive, PWC/jet ski, or non-outboard backgrounds.
We are looking for a true marine professional who can diagnose, repair, and maintain
outboard engines to manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose, service, and repair outboard boat motors in accordance with
manufacturer guidelines
• Perform maintenance and repairs on Yamaha, Suzuki, and/or Mercury outboard
engines
• Conduct engine diagnostics, troubleshooting, and performance testing
• Complete rigging, repowers, and engine installations as needed
• Perform routine services including oil changes, lower unit service, cooling systems,
and fuel systems
• Accurately document all work performed, parts used, and labor hours
• Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding repair timelines and findings
• Ensure all work meets Boathouse Marine quality standards and manufacturer
requirements
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Stay current on manufacturer updates, service bulletins, and certification
requirements
 
Required Qualifications (non-negotiable)
• Current Outboard Motor certification with Yamaha, Suzuki, and/or Mercury
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on marine technician experience
• Proven experience working specifically on outboard-powered boats
• Ability to independently diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
• Strong understanding of marine systems (fuel, cooling, electrical, steering, and
rigging)
• Ability to work on-site in West Palm Beach / Riviera Beach, FL (no relocation
offered)
• Valid driver’s license

We are seeking a skilled&nbsp;Mechanical Assembler&nbsp;to join our team. This role involves assembling mechanical and electrical component. The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints and working in a hands-on, physically demanding environment.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Read and interpret&nbsp;mechanical diagrams&nbsp;to assemble components accurately.</li>
<li>Perform&nbsp;wire labeling, crimping, and routing&nbsp;to ensure proper connections and organization.</li>
<li>Conduct&nbsp;quality checks&nbsp;to verify alignment with specifications.</li>
<li>Route multi-conductor cables while standing, bending, kneeling, and working above the shoulders.</li>
<li>Safely use&nbsp;ladders&nbsp;throughout the shift to complete mechanical and electrical installations.</li>

Qualifications:
