Responsibilities
Our OHSU client is seeking 2 new valets for our Marquam Hill Valet operation.
Position One: Doernbecher Children's Hospital Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Two: Marquam Hill General Valet Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Pay Rate for both: $18/hour + tips as applicable

<li>Previous parking experience desired</li>
<li>Ability to drive manual transmission preferred but not required.</li>

What you’ll do
<ul>
<li>Deliver on our Promise by ensuring every moment matters for our clients through resolving client requests and concerns efficiently, finding new ways to solve problems that may arise, and communicating proactively with clients.</li>
<li>Inspect every vehicle before safely parking it, noting all findings.</li>
<li>Explain valet rates to customers. </li>
<li>Observe traffic laws and safe driving practices.</li>
<li>Report all accidents, safety hazards, unusual occurrences, and policy violations to management.</li>
<li>Know the area's major streets, landmarks, and freeways to ensure customers have a seamless transportation experience.</li>
<li>Come to work in your clean uniform every scheduled shift, on time, and ready to work.</li>
<li>Remain in complete uniform for the entirety of your shift. </li>
<li>Assist management with additional duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
 
Qualifications
What you need 
<ul>
<li>A valid state driver’s license, current address, and acceptable driving record. </li>
<li>The ability to safely drive a vehicle with a manual transmission (stick shift) is a plus.</li>
<li>Availability to work special shifts if needed (2nd, 3rd shift and/or weekends).</li>
<li>Proof of eligibility to work legally in the U.S. (must provide valid documentation if hired).</li>
<li>The ability to provide accurate information to customers and co-workers and respond professionally to customer problems or complaints.</li>
<li>The ability to read, write, add, and subtract US currency and comprehend instructions, short emails, and memos.</li>
<li>The ability to follow written and verbal instructions and calmly adapt to changes, delays, and unexpected events while working.</li>

Salary Range: $18.00 per hour

This role is critical to ensure smooth operations across multiple logistics touchpoints and maintaining accurate data within our systems.&nbsp; This is a remote position based in the Portland OR/Vancouver WA metro area. <li>Oversee and maintain customs compliance data and tariff classifications</li>
<li>Monitor &amp; reconcile inventory, actively investigating discrepancies and initiating cycle counts as needed</li>
<li>Handling unplanned returns or refused shipments, determine if products can be RTS, repaired or disposed of</li>
<li>Review and reconciliation of inbound/outbound shipment documentation</li>
<li>Communicate with 3PL to confirm receipts, address discrepancies, reporting of shortages and damage</li>
<li>Enter receipts in SAP, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and location updates</li>
<li>Notifying relevant departments when inbound shipments arrive or if there are delays or other issues</li>
<li>Ensure month end reconciliation is complete </li>
<li>Ensure tariff information is correct, confirmed, and approved with 3PL</li>
<li>Process carrier claims including management of paperwork and digital records for traceability</li>
<li>Monitor &amp; ensure timely completion of all order fulfillment processes at 3PL locations, including resolving EDI transaction issues, rectifying shortages or discrepancies to facilitate order shipments</li>
</ul>
Skills you bring: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum 3-5 years direct 3PL, inventory management and bonded warehouse operations</li>
<li>Knowledge of bonded shipment paperwork, customs entry forms, specialized documents (7512), and compliance</li>
<li>Understanding of tariffs, duties, and First Sale For Export (FSFE) compliance</li>
<li>Extremely detail oriented, self-starter, independent worker</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially Excel</li>
<li>Ability to input, retrieve, and analyze data</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management skills</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of ERP solutions, SAP preferred</li>
