GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Our team is looking for candidates that are open to an exciting medical career in the area of treating clients with addictive disease and co-occurring mental health needs.
 
This position serves under the direction of our Medical Director and works collaboratively with other treatment team members to satisfactorily achieve the goals of the facility. The incumbent will serve as a professional practitioner to provide diagnostic, preventative, and/or restorative care to patients with identified chemical dependency and mental health diagnosis.
 
They are required to electronically document each patient encounter in our confidential electronic clinical record including all diagnostic assessment reports, individual plans of treatment, and treatment notes regarding the service being recommended and/or delivered.
Based on their evaluations, they will prescribe the appropriate medications to treat said conditions.
 
The incumbent in this position will enjoy the benefit of treating patients on an ongoing basis to monitor and evaluate their response to treatment. They will have the ability to interface with the entire treatment staff and collateral persons to triage and measure treatment outcomes during treatment. They will also have access to our Staff Psychiatrist to review consultation and advice.
They will have the full support of our facility including the CEO, President, Medical and Clinical Director. This individual will be a trusted member of the leadership team and be leaned upon for leadership, guidance, and policies as it relates to the proper care of patients. Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Shop/Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our team. This will be a full time, corporate shop-based role in Marietta, GA, reporting to our Shop Foreman.

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
 
Summary of Duties:
 
Performs maintenance and repair activities on various pieces of heavy equipment
 
Essential functions:
 
<ul>
<li>Diagnose, service, and repair various systems that are found on pieces of heavy equipment such as mechanical and computer electronic controls, air brake systems, transmissions, computer-controlled automatic and 13-speed manual transmissions, high voltage generators, propane powered equipment, and pneumatic systems.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot malfunctions in the equipment and repair.</li>
<li>Repair and service track drive sprockets, rails, idler wheels, hard bars, track adjusters, hydraulic reversers, final drives, brake bands, steering clutches, and hydrostatic transmissions.</li>
<li>May fabricate, modify, and install special equipment or replacement parts using mills, lathes, welders, torch sets, plasma cutter, and metal cutting saws.</li>
<li>Perform routine maintenance checks and adjustments on such things as fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, and clutches; change filters and oil, and lubricate vehicles and motor-driven equipment.</li>
<li>Service, diagnose, repair, and maintain speed tandem drive axles with air or tires gas and diesel engines, services valves, fuel filters, and turbochargers, and pressure checks fuel filters, adjust injector heights, fuel racks, governors, etc.</li>
<li>Diagnose problems, disassemble units, repair or replace parts, and reassemble units.</li>
<li>Repair or replace shoes, pads, drums, hoses, calipers, cylinders, any heavy-duty air brakes.</li>
<li>Flush radiator, replace hoses and thermostat, repair or replace radiator and water pump, fan drives, DCA treatment filters, air intercoolers, and oil coolers.</li>
<li>Repair and replace driveshaft, differential, axle, manual, automatic, and sophisticated computer-controlled transmissions, clutches, transfer cases, power take-off systems, transmission reversers, all-wheel-drive steering axles, and final drives.</li>
</ul>
 
Required Education and Experience:

<li>At least 2 years of experience</li>

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
 
<ul>
<li>Work is generally conducted in a shop environment. However, duties may involve the conduct of work in the outdoors area with potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.</li>
<li>Work requires bending, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and occasional working in cramped and awkward positions.</li>
<li>Frequent exposure to conditions of inclement weather extreme heat and cold, high/ low humidity, blowing sand and dust, and working in confined spaces and at heights.</li>

This job operates in a busy shop/garage setting. Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is currently seeking Tack Truck Drivers to join our team. This will be a full time role. This position reports to the Site Foreman. Nights and/or weekends may be required in addition to regular day shifts.

Summary
 
Responsible for operating tack truck equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
 
Essential functions:
 
<ul>
<li>Drives tack truck to destination applying commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle in difficult situations.</li>
<li>To be able to fully Operate tack truck patching hose and spray bars on road surfaces and ensure proper application of tack.</li>
<li>Inspects truck, equipment, and supplies before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition and needs.</li>
<li>Be able to load and unload tack truck at the asphalt plants.</li>
<li>Must observe and practice safety standards and policies of the department.</li>
<li>Safely operate the tack truck, following all traffic laws and company safety procedures.</li>
<li>Be able to Load and unload emulsion or tack which may be as hot as 300 degrees onto the truck efficiently and securely.</li>
<li>Perform regular cleaning and upkeep of the tack truck to ensure its optimal performance.</li>
<li>Constantly monitor the temperature of the material to maintain its quality.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the asphalt crew to assist with additional duties when the tack truck is not in use.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean driving record within the guidelines of the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) policy.</li>
<li>Demonstrate familiarity with the safe operation of construction and paving equipment.</li>
<li>Willingness to work day or night shifts as required.</li>
<li>Stay updated on all USDOT and FMCSA safety regulations.</li>
<li>Conduct daily safety checks of fluid levels (oil, water, fuel), inspect for leaks and damage prior to operating the vehicle.</li>
<li>Notify supervisor promptly if the vehicle requires repair.</li>
<li>Assist with incidental work items and duties related to other crafts as needed.</li>
<li>Prioritize safety first by identifying and reporting near misses and unsafe acts.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned. </li>
</ul>
 
Education
 
A high school diploma or equivalent is desired, but not required.
 
Physical and Environmental aspects
 
<ul>
<li>Will need to be able to climb and descend steps/stairs and use handrails to enter/exit vehicles.</li>
<li>The environment can be noisy at times. The employee will be exposed to dust and fumes from cleaners, gasoline, diesel, exhaust, etc.</li>
<li>Employees work outdoors, and will be exposed to the weather, including extremes in heat and cold, rain.</li>
<li>Will be in a sitting position for long periods of time while driving and subject to the vibration of the equipment.</li>

Education, Training, and Experience

<li>Minimum 1 year of experience as a tack truck driver.</li>
<li>This position requires a Class B CDL with tank endorsement. Hazmat endorsement is helpful but not required.</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to perform manual work and follow verbal and written instructions.</li>
</ul>
