Primary Responsibility: This position is responsible for supporting customers with on-site service, technical support, and on-site training. Primary functions of this position are commissioning new SCR equipment; preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of existing SCR equipment; and telephone customer support. The Field Service Technician also prepares reports documenting the work performed and the performance of the equipment. The Field Service Technician typically works in a non-smoking environment.

Job Description
The role of the Regional VisionNav AGV Technician is to proactively perform quality maintenance and repairs as scheduled on a route within their assigned Region, communicate and follow-up with our customers as well as their management team, schedule return visits to make follow-up repairs or resolve unplanned service events, and overall to ensure the equipment remains in service and our customers are informed. Technical aspects that involve the guidance system will require the AGV Technician to work and train with the Engineering Team for onsite resolution. The AGV Technician will not be responsible for calibrations and programming changes to the guidance system. The AGV Technician will assist in the remote resolution with issues involved concerning programming, software updates, and guidance system concerns. The AGV Technician will be responsible for doing everything possible to maintain equipment uptime to keep the equipment in service and will act as a liaison with the Engineering Team to ensure customer equipment uptime is achieved. New hires will be trained at our Corporate off in Lawrenceville, GA. Once the training is completed, our Technicians will be deployed to their assigned Region on a scheduled route. Ongoing training and support will be provided as required.

Job Responsibilities
1. Maintenance &amp; Repairs
· Perform PM’s per the company provided AGV PM Checklist (e.g., oil changes, multiple adjustments required, battery inspections, etc.)

<li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues. Electrical repairs would exclude programming involved with the guidance system. Bolt-on parts and calibrations would be performed by the Technician (training will be provided). An Engineer will work with the Technician from a programming standpoint where required</li>
<li>Replace worn and faulty components (e.g., motors, brake assemblies, wheels and tires, etc.)</li>
<li>Maintain records of maintenance, service, and repairs performed</li>

2. Inspections

<li>Maintain professional, timely communication with customers prior to and following projects.  </li>
<li>Perform minor repair of fire door frames, doors, locksets, latches, closers, strike plates, miscellaneous door and frame hardware and material to bring up to code requirements. </li>
<li>Perform repairs in ordinance with NFPA 80, NFPA 105 and the IBC standards for fire door performance. </li>
<li>Fill holes in frames/doors. </li>
<li>Shim to correct clearances. </li>
<li>Clean/install closers and hardware to fix latching and closing issues. </li>
<li>Establish plan of action for door replacement through facilities in a time efficient manner. </li>
<li>Document repairs that are not able to be completed, obtain and record specifications for hardware to be ordered. </li>
<li>Provide accurate documentation for customers’ code compliance. </li>
<li>Work with hand tools (drill, screws, screwdriver, tap &amp; dye sets, Bondo, sander, etc.) </li>
<li>Administer proper infectious control measures per hospital requirements. </li>

Requirements and Preferred Experience: 
Firestop 
<ul>
<li>1 + year of firestop inspection, repair, and installation</li>
<li>Commercial drywall repair and installation</li>
<li>Fire caulking experience</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li>
<li>Understanding of iOS products and electronic reporting.</li>
<li>Experience with life safety plans and NFPA.</li>
<li>Hilti and STI certification preferred but not required. </li>

Job Summary
Typical workdays include team meetings, planning for each customer visit, and using company trucks/tools to service, calibrate, and repair a customer's weighing equipment. We provide service to a broad range of industrial customers, working both indoors and outdoors on equipment with attention to detail. When you join our team as a Field Service Scale Technician, you start out by completing a hands-on onboarding program focused on the fundamentals of the scale technician trade. In addition to completing the necessary training requirements, you also take part in a mentorship program while first working in the field. When you successfully complete all requirements of your onboarding program, you will become a Certified Scale Technician. From there, you may advance into more senior technician levels. There are also opportunities to evolve into other areas of the business, such as IT systems data networking, sales, or customer support.
 
Job Requirements
Successfully complete the scale technician onboarding program, which includes training/mentoring to learn:
