Your Impact
We are searching for a skilled and motivated EV Charging Field Service Technician. This key role is responsible for the onsite repair and maintenance of EV charging stations in a specific geographic region, including but not limited to site safety, electrical system maintenance/repair, site field reports, and other duties as required to properly maintain and operate the site within the contractual requirements. This role must be able to work independently with little to no supervision and will be required to work in the field under various conditions.
Core Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Perform OEM testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades/ revisions to a broad range of equipment, ranging from Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers to DC Fast Chargers.</li>
<li>Perform testing on equipment, including but not limited to; insulation testing (megger testing), thermal imagery, torque tests, and performance evaluations.</li>
<li>Troubleshoot system performance issues and locate/isolate ground faults.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Planning and Scheduling team to ensure maintenance schedules are adhered to and work orders are completed accurately and on time.</li>
<li>Review site manuals and drawings to ensure proper service and maintenance of equipment.</li>
<li>In fieldwork including electrical and mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance of site equipment, site field reporting, work order completion, and other work as needed.</li>
<li>Ensure that all issues at the site are documented in the work order system and are addressed in a timely manner.</li>

Core Experience
<ul>
<li>2+ years' equivalent experience in servicing electrical power equipment in the commercial or utility energy field and/or formal electrical training.</li>
<li>Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Technical knowledge of Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers, solar power installations, or other applicable power electronics is preferred, but not required.</li>
<li>Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to generate, track, and complete site work requirements.</li>

WHAT DOES AN AUTOMATIC DOOR TECH DO? A typical day begins at our shop with a caffeine jolt, a restock of service vehicles, and assignment of daily service calls. Technicians then travel to 4-6 customer locations within our service area where they troubleshoot, diagnose, and make repairs. This involves selling parts, filling out paperwork to document the superb work being performed, and helpfully answering customer questions, providing technical support/customer education, and converting any grumpy customers into happy ones. Additional calls along a route may be added if they come in, so be prepared to call an audible. A day ends by driving directly home from your last call and putting your feet up. Also we don't just handle the old and broken, but we do shiny new doors too! Our door techs can have the fun of installing those new door systems as well. Variety is the spice of life for an automatic door tech.

Are you an experienced, creative, and motivated Engineer ready to make an impact or take the next step in your career? ms consultants is looking for someone like you to join our Water business unit, where you'll help deliver innovative solutions that provide clean water to communities. This position can be filled in one of our ms offices or remotely in the Eastern Standard Time Zone. In this role you will work with many different ms team members within the company doing design work on water and wastewater treatment plants, water distribution systems, sewer collection systems, and stormwater solutions.

What You'll Do:
<ul>
<li>Collect and review data, perform calculations, prepare contract documents as necessary to assist with the design,</li>
<li>Assist project team staff on preliminary and final design documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.</li>
<li>Assist with preparation of preliminary engineering design reports or studies</li>
<li>Working on design projects involving treatment process and hydraulic analysis, equipment selection and layout for either water or wastewater treatment facilities.</li>
<li>Ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.</li>

What You'll Bring:
Education and Experience
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field.</li>
<li>Professional Engineering (PE) License preferred or obtain within 12 months of hire. </li>
<li>Water/wastewater treatment experience</li>
</ul>
Knowledge and Skills
<ul>
<li>Experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with processing modeling software is preferred.</li>
<li>Familiarity with federal and state environmental rules and regulations.</li>
<li>Able to work both individually and in a collaborative, matrixed team environment.</li>
<li>Have exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.</li>
<li>Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li>

Ideal Candidate: 4+ YOE, experience supporting a manufacturing line, and GMP or regulated environment experience.
Nice to have: relevant pharma experience, experience starting up a new manufacturing line.
 
In this role the Senior Engineer (Line Owner/System Owner) must work under general supervision, owns all the technical aspects in a manufacturing line. The processes were the SO/LO Engineer shall be familiar with are: characterization of process optimization strategies and/or solving problems of operational issues in the packaging operations, manufacturing, pilot technologies or capital projects.
 
Applies basic engineering principles to the design and implementation of system modifications, experiments and/or capital projects. Organizes, analyzes and presents interpretation of results for operational issues or engineering projects of minor scope and complexity.
As a technical resource of an area, System owner / Line Owner Engineer shall interact and provide direction to technical resources such as Mechanics, Automation Techs and IS teams. At the same time, the System Owner/Line Owner Engineer shall be able to define design requirements to the service providers to fulfill area technical and equipment needs.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.
• Under general supervision will evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques and procedures. Assistance given for unusual problems.
• Perform assignments that have clear and specific objectives and require investigation of limited number of variables.
• Initiate and complete routine technical tasks.
Operations Engineering:
• Function as a technical specialist to equipment or systems regarding problem solving operations. Frequently become actively involved in daily operations when required to meet schedules or to resolve problems.
• Routinely audit the operational performance and regulatory compliance of a moderate number of equipment items or systems of complexity.
• Work with research, manufacturing, maintenance, process development, utilities, facilities, quality assurance and/or validation departments in developing requirements and recommendations for system modifications.
Design Engineering:
• Work under the direct supervision of project managers to complete design, engineering, and construction projects within schedule and budget constraints.
• Work with consultants, architects and engineering firms on development of standard design documents.
• Acquire and critique quotes for equipment modifications or installations.
• Generate rudimentary project cost estimates and schedules.
 
 Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced degree in Mechatronics, Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
• Knowledge and/or experience of pharmaceutical/biotech processes, especially in the area of final drug product operations

- Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
-*Technical Proficiency:Proficient in project management software and tools. Experience with scheduling software is a plus.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required by project needs.
- Preferred Background: Experience working on large-scale projects valued at $10 million and upwards, with a preference for those experienced in assisting Project Managers with RFIs, cost coding, and working with other Project Engineers/APMs.
- Career Path: This role is designed to eventually move into a Project Manager (PM) position.
- Adaptability: We can be flexible on degree and experience, but a mechanical contracting background is preferred. Some flexibility on candidates working for a General Contractor or A&amp;E firm.
