GES is seeking an experienced Senior Endpoint Migration Engineer to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team, who will support DOD Agencies and Field Activities (DAFAs) as they migrate their endpoints to the modern DODNet environment. The Endpoint Migration Engineer will be responsible for working closely with DAFA system administrators and staff to help ensure that endpoint migrations to DODNet are thoroughly tested, documented, and provide a positive experience for DAFA users and their leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Endpoint Migration Preparation and Testing
o Work closely with the Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) team to ensure all applications and Intune policies are applied correctly and tested thoroughly on the DAFA network and representative endpoint devices.
o Establish and execute comprehensive test plans that ensure the entire endpoint migration process is thoroughly exercised on the DAFAs networks using representative DAFA hardware.
o Document the results of all tests, clearly identify any finding, and ensure finding are communicated with the UEM team for prompt resolution.
o Continually exercise the endpoint migration process on representative endpoint devices as part of a phased testing cycle, to ensure any issues are identified and escalated to the UEM team prior to migrating DAFA users.
o Communicate with DAFA technical experts and stakeholders to collect feedback, identify areas of improvement, and ensure clear understanding of the endpoint migration process and expectations.
· Support and Troubleshooting
o Serve as the primary technical liaison between the DAFA users and the UEM team, ensuring issues identified by the DAFA are clearly communicated, documented, and escalated to the UEM team for remediation.
o Troubleshoot endpoint connectivity, software deployment, and patching issues across distributed environments.

The Role
Kasa is seeking a Chief Engineer who will be responsible for providing specialized support for all building systems maintenance and facility operations of a given building. This includes a focus to identify equipment reliability opportunities and improving upon quality. This role will demand time spent on the ground "living the business" with extreme detail orientation, but will also require analytically rigorous strategic thinking to guide the D.C. Property and Kasa leadership teams.
This role will report to the General Manager and work closely with the Washington D.C. team.

Day in the life of a Kasa Chief Engineer
Like any Ops role, you should expect to have a number of competing priorities in a given day or week. This position relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a wide degree of autonomy, creativity, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Actively provide technical engineering support for the on-site team regarding the operation, improvements, replacements, and/or upgrades for building systems and equipment.</li>
<li>Identify and recommend potential building systems-related projects.</li>
<li>Lead efforts involving preventative maintenance requirements, process improvements, standards review and troubleshooting, equipment selection, and service vendors.</li>
<li>Direct capital projects such as major design changes, performance and process improvement changes, and reliability analysis and related improvements.</li>
<li>Assist the General Manager with reviewing price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for ongoing property maintenance and special projects.</li>
<li>Understand existing elevator and fire/life safety systems maintenance, making recommendations for process or capital improvements, and assisting in project management of modernization of any of these systems.</li>
<li>Maintain records related to property permits, licenses and environmental requirements.</li>
</ul>
Experience
<ul>
<li>Minimum 4 years of experience providing facilities support in the commercial, multi-family, or hospitality industry</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of all building systems including but not limited to MEP, commissioning, life and fire safety, elevator modernization, HVAC, and other centralized systems</li>
<li>You are data-driven, with metrics on your mind, and have the ability to interpret and analyze financial and non-financial data</li>
<li>You have a high level of independence and can make thoughtful decisions, even in fast-paced and ambiguous operating environments</li>
<li>You are obsessive about clear documentation of learnings, and always approach a problem with the mindset of how you could scale the solution to 100x the size</li>
<li>You communicate with clarity and empathy and can deliver impactful presentations to both senior business leaders as well as daily operations staff</li>
<li>You have excellent time management skills and enjoy juggling multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time</li>
<li>You're comfortable lifting items up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>You can handle stressful situations with a calm and positive demeanor</li>
<li>You hold an EPA Universal Certification, or are willing to obtain the certification within 90 days of hire.</li>
