Job responsibilities:

Scope of Job
The BankWest internship program gives energetic, responsible college students the opportunity to learn about the banking industry, community banks, customer service and community involvement. This position will teach the incumbent how our organization functions in the assigned areas of responsibility, giving them valuable insight that can further their interest in their chosen career field.
 
Primary Duties 
Works in various areas of the bank as assigned by Human Resources. The goal during each department assignment is to learn various aspects of the tasks and functions carried out by the department.
Responsible to perform all related work responsibilities consistent with the standardized procedures and compliance requirements of the Bank.
 
Secondary Duties
Work as a team with departmental counterparts on planning and implementing assigned projects and products.
Participate on various committees and project teams as deemed appropriate by management.
Attend, actively participate in organization, job specific training offered, and Quality Service programs.
Adhere to all applicable Policies and Procedures of BankWest organization. Community involvement is strongly encouraged.
Other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements
Education (The minimum qualifications for internal/external applicants)
A high school diploma or equivalent.
Incoming Junior or Senior currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program in a related field. Will also consider a recent graduate or graduate students.
Minimum 3.2 GPA
 
Special Skills 
Ability to work dependently and/or independently, under pressure, meet deadlines, and adjust work schedules as needed to complete job responsibilities.
Ability to organize and handle multiple responsibilities while delivering quality external and/or internal Customer Service.
Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with external and/or internal customers.
Knowledge or ability to learn regulatory requirements pertinent to performance of specified duties in job description.
Knowledge of banking terminology and procedures.
Ability to skillfully use a variety of application software, learn computer programs, and comprehend the program output.
Adhere to Federal Privacy Standards in addition to following BankWest requirements for electronic communication and Social Engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Representative Duties:

Prospecting &amp; Lead Generation: Proactively identify and engage new clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.

Qualifications

Sales Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in B2B sales with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Proficient in assessing client needs and recommending tailored solutions.

Training &amp; Mentorship Experience (Preferred): Previous experience in a coaching, mentoring, or training role is preferred. However, the ability to be coachable and open to feedback is equally important, as ongoing learning is key to personal and team growth.
