Qualification Requirements: Requires a minimum of an earned Ph.D. degree in Clinical Psychology, Health Psychology, or relevant psychology field from an accredited university or institution; experience in graduate-level teaching and mentorship, curriculum design, and research; demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations in an inclusive manner; exceptional interpersonal skills; outstanding written and oral communication skills; academic accomplishments, reflected by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the academic rank; and active membership and involvement in scholarly societies.
The successful candidate must be academically qualified for a faculty appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in accordance with SOM and USU academic policies.

Associate of Early Stage Full Professor of Sociology

Assistant/Associate Teaching Professor of Environmental Science 
The Department of Geography and the Environment at Villanova University invites applications for an Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor (continuing non-tenure track) position in Environmental Science starting in August 2024. We seek a colleague to teach in the environmental sciences to support the growth of the Department’s undergraduate programs. A Ph.D. in environmental science or a related field is required. Exceptional candidates with at least six years of full-time undergraduate teaching experience will be considered for the rank of Associate Teaching Professor. Opportunities for promotion to Associate Teaching Professor and Full Teaching Professor exist with demonstrated excellence and leadership in teaching, ongoing scholarly engagement, and a strong record of service to the institution. The position is a 9-month academic appointment, and the incumbent will teach 16 contact hours per semester (for example, one course consisting of three hours of lecture plus three three-hour labs per week, or two separate courses each consisting of three hours of lecture and three-hours in lab each week). Our new colleague will primarily teach the two-semester introductory environmental science lecture and laboratory sequence for undergraduate Environmental Science and Environmental Studies majors, and there is also the opportunity to develop and teach more advanced courses and/or courses for non-majors. Excellence in teaching is the primary responsibility of this continuing non-tenure track position.&nbsp; In addition, our new colleague will be expected to demonstrate continued scholarly engagement with their discipline, develop new educational materials, mentor undergraduate independent research, and participate in departmental and institutional functions and committees. Stanford Department of African and African American Studies Open Rank: Black Studies in the Arts

The Department of Romance Languages and Literatures seeks to hire a tenure-track professor of French and Francophone literatures and cultures specializing in any of the periods prior to the nineteenth century, from the Middle Ages to the aftermath of the French Revolution. We are looking for a scholar who envisions their research within a capacious conception of the spaces, texts, and times involved in pre-1800 French and Francophone studies. We are especially interested in approaches that place literature and cultural expressions in conversation with interdisciplinary fields such as gender and sexuality studies, decolonial studies, and the environmental humanities. Demonstrated strong commitment to teaching is crucial, as is the ability to capture the interest of a diverse student body.&nbsp;
The Department will consider candidates with a PhD from disciplines other than French Studies, but fluency in French is required. Doctorate required by the time the appointment begins on July 1, 2024. The tenure-track professor will be responsible for teaching four courses a year and supervising theses at both the undergraduate and graduate level.
