This internship opportunity is in Western Digital's Research organization, which tackles advanced long-horizon problems related to data storage, computation and communication. Our group has projects emphasizing either embedded AI inference or the design and testing of superconducting quantum computing qubits. Track 1:
As an Intern in Quantum Computing, your project will require several of the following tasks:

BASIC FUNCTION:
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individuals or small groups of limited or non-English speaking students in a classroom or other learning environment including LEP classes and Bilingual Newcomers Centers; assist students in their acculturation to the American and English­ speaking culture; prepare instructional materials and perform a variety of routine clerical duties as assigned; translate for parents and teachers as assigned.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
Assist certificated instructional personnel in developing course of study and lesson plans in English and a second designated language; translate lessons from English to a second designated language; assist in planning and arranging field trips and special activities.
Assist in the presentation of instructional materials and academic instruction to individuals or small groups of students, reinforcing instruction and following up on specific language, spelling and mathematics activities as directed by the teacher.
