As a Healthcare Activities Coordinator, supporting our mission will include the following responsibilities:

Title: Residential Advisor (RA)
 
Summary of Job Description:
Provide direct oversight of Member residential living arrangements to ensure safety, cleanliness, and overall environment of recovery. Support and document Member self-administration of medications. 
Specific Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Roving and inspection of residences and Member ADL support as needed.</li>
<li>Support with facilities and medication management activities, including (but not limited to) the following:
<ol>
<li>Fire Drills</li>
<li>Disaster Drills</li>
<li>Residential Checklist</li>
<li>Medication Room Checklist</li>
<li>Van Checklist</li>
<li>Refrigerator Temperature Log</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Implement and document Member interventions and progress relative to Member Treatment Plan as it pertains to medication and ADL compliance.</li>
<li>Complete Incident Reports in accordance with Project Transition/ PCS Mental Health’s Policy and Process.</li>
<li>Complete progress notes for any interactions with Members and document in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) (DAP format) by the end of your covered shift.</li>
<li>Facilitate/ Co-facilitate all groups as assigned and complete documentation within 24 hours of facilitating.</li>
<li>Support with transporting Members per the directive of the Program.</li>
<li>Support with observation of Member alcohol and drug screenings as assigned and document observations by the end of the covered shift (if applicable).</li>
<li>Support Members with activities of daily living including (but not limited to) the following:
<ol>
<li>Daily oversight and coaching of daily living activities.</li>
<li>Observing Member self-administration of medication.</li>
<li>Support with the development of socialization/ communication skills, conflict resolution, de-escalation skills, and utilization of crisis supports.</li>
<li>Support with meal planning, menu development, food shopping and meal preparation.</li>
<li>Encourage and support health and home safety practices.</li>
<li>Support with navigation of public transportation services.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Complete continuing educational requirements as aligned with regulatory compliance.</li>
<li>Attend individual supervision sessions and program meetings as scheduled by direct supervisor.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned by the Program Director.</li>
</ul>
Additional Performance Expectations:
<ul>
<li>Support and implement interventions and directives as directed by the Team.</li>
<li>Always demonstrate compassion and concern when supporting a Member through embracing Project Transition/ PCS Mental Health’s Mission and Core Values.</li>
<li>Approach Member engagement from a non-judgmental stance understanding that a Member’s behavior is driven by experience, which may include trauma.</li>
<li>Treat and speak to Members with supportive kindness even when a Member demonstrates intense behavioral or emotional actions. Staff will show Members dignity and respect for their values and lifestyles.</li>
<li>Seek out appropriate support, consultation with Clinician or Psychiatrist (if applicable), in conjunction with the Program Director or obtain supervision, when they are uncertain about how to respond or support a Member effectively.</li>
<li>Report back to the Treatment Team any observations of Member behavior that suggests Member may need additional treatment interventions and/or support.</li>
<li>Engage with all external parties/ individuals with professionalism and with a positive customer service approach, understanding that they are always representing the organization.</li>
