SUPERVISOR: Lighting &amp; Sound Supervisor

ONSITE REQUIREMENTS: This position will require mostly onsite work. 
SCHEDULE DESCRIPTION: During tech and preview weeks, this position often works 12-hour days, six days a week often over 40 hours in a week. These long days do include breaks and downtime and time worked over 40 hours will be compensated for with overtime. 
POSITION SUMMARY 
The Electrics Fellow will participate in load-in, hanging and focusing lights, troubleshooting problems during tech rehearsals, programming and running board for tech rehearsals, maintaining electrics equipment during production runs, and participating in all lighting strikes and changeovers. The Fellow will have hands-on experiences and have opportunities to learn various skills including soldering, wiring practices, and miscellaneous theatre specific electric's needs.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Life Coach to support adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in achieving greater independence, social engagement, and personal growth. The Life Coach will work within a community-based social recreation training program or provide personal assistance to individuals, focusing on life skills, self-advocacy, social interactions, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Individualized Support: Assist individuals in setting and achieving personal goals related to social skills, communication, independent living, and community engagement.</li>
<li>Skill Development: Provide coaching on daily living skills, self-care, financial literacy, time management, and employment readiness.</li>
<li>Social &amp; Recreational Engagement: Facilitate group and one-on-one activities that promote social interaction, recreation, and personal interests.</li>
<li>Community Integration: Support individuals in navigating community resources, participating in recreational outings, and fostering relationships.</li>
<li>Advocacy &amp; Empowerment: Encourage self-advocacy by helping individuals develop confidence in making choices and expressing their needs.</li>
<li>Personal Assistance (if applicable): Provide hands-on support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including meal preparation, hygiene, and transportation, based on individual needs.</li>
<li>Safety &amp; Well-being: Ensure a safe, supportive environment while promoting independence and dignity.</li>
<li>Documentation &amp; Reporting: Maintain accurate records of progress, participation, and any incidents, following organizational guidelines.</li>
<li>Collaboration: Work closely with families, caregivers, case managers, and other professionals to ensure holistic support.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Knowledge of community resources and social-recreational programs for adults with disabilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).</li>
<li>Valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation.</li>

TITLE: Sound &amp; Projections Fellow 
SUPERVISOR: Lighting &amp; Sound Supervisor 
DEPARTMENT: Audio 
DIVISION: Production 
ONSITE REQUIREMENTS: This position will require mostly onsite work. 
SCHEDULE DESCRIPTION: This position requires weekend and evening work to facilitate the needs of all tech rehearsals and some shows if necessary. This position also sometimes involves working more than 40 hours a week, which will be compensated for with overtime. 

POSITION SUMMARY 
The Sound and Projections Fellow will help implement the sound design and projections design for each production. The Fellow will work closely with local and visiting projections designers, sound designers and engineers. They will assist with load-in, troubleshooting problems during tech rehearsals, programming and running board for tech rehearsals, maintenance of audio and projections equipment during the run of productions, and participation in all strikes and changeovers. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES 
This position is meant for early-career individuals who have an interest, if not direct experience, in the following essential functions of the role:

<li>Installing Sound and Projection Plot</li>
<li>Create run paperwork for Shows.</li>
<li>Work closely with Designers to prepare all tech needs.</li>
<li>Help create an installation schedule.</li>
<li>Help monitor budgets for shows.</li>
<li>Work as Programmer during technical rehearsal</li>
<li>Set audio and projection systems up.</li>
<li>Maintain organization of inventories and storage</li>
<li>Attending Production meetings before and during tech rehearsal.</li>
<li>Help set up audio and visual needs for rentals and events. </li>
<li>Participate in Studio Theatre’s on-going anti-racism work.</li>
<li>Be actively engaged in the programming elements of the Fellows in Residence Program</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
