<li>Complete and Assist with Yearly Banner Roll, FISAP Reporting, Monthly reconciliation including Pell &amp; Direct Loans and Perkins reporting</li>
<li>Manage, maintain, and counsel an assigned caseload of prospective and current students </li>
<li>Work closely with first generation University students and families</li>
<li>Review and approve Refund requests</li>
<li>Work closely with Admission team to provide presentations and one on one counseling during programmed events occasionally required on weekends such as but not limited to: Accepted Students Day, Open House, Early Action Brunch, Last Look Weekend, and evening outreach</li>
<li>Create and present workshops on and off campus to encourage FAFSA filing of prospective students and clearance for continuing students</li>
<li>Work closely with Oxley Advisors and Program Directors to provide lists and information on students with outstanding balances</li>
<li>foster and maintain partnerships across programs</li>
<li>Engage students through financial literacy workshops</li>
<li>Work closely with Student Accounts </li>
<li>Assist with NYS HESC awards </li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree required</li>
<li>Two years minimum experience directly related to the duties listed above</li>
<li>Extensive knowledge of financial aid policies, procedures and eligibility requirements</li>
<li>Ability to create and maintain an environment that fosters team solutions across various departments on campus</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing</li>
<li>Banner, Argos, ED Connect, COD, NSLDS, Microsoft Office experience preferred</li>
<li>Able to maintain a positive, upbeat attitude; have a proactive approach in a fast-paced work environment</li>
<li>Experience providing excellent customer service and have the ability to use positive language in challenging situations</li>
